Well as far as what happened….I only wish I could tell you.
All I know is I logged on to do my job and didn’t have access.
20 minutes later I get a PM saying (basically…because you can’t direct copy PMs per the “rules”):
The staff will be moderating the board from this point.
Appreciate all you’ve done.
Yep. That’s it.
No heads up. No discussion about issues they may have had. Nothing.
Still haven’t gotten a clear answer to this point…but you know that’s how these kinds of things go.
This world is no different than any other corporate environment. There’s no requirement for those in charge to treat people with respect.
So be it.
The point that needs to be made is that I never took this gig for the staff, or the mysterious owners.
I care about them just about as much as they care about me…..or any of you.
I took it for the people of this board….and in this community.
I saw it as a chance to make the board a friendly place, limit the trainwrecks and alias assaults that sometimes happened on a daily basis, help people figure out how to use the site, and occasionally toss in what I like to think is logic.
Decisions weren’t made by me as law…..they were voted on by the people that matter. The members of the board.
Obviously I’m biased……but I think improvements were made. Differing opinions were allowed. Posts weren’t censored. The most important people….the board members…..were allowed to be themselves.
I made mistakes too….and I’ve apologized publicly for them. Nobody is perfect…and I’m not in denial about that.
If there were any problems……they were caused by people who don’t know how to act like adults.
People who are incapable of understanding that they broke rules and had to be moderated for a little while.
People who didn’t like that they come on the board and can’t get unmoderated just because they post a lot….and still can’t figure out how to post a picture.
People who get ALL bent out of shape…..because a post not relevant to the board got denied.
People who can’t even accept a post I make to point out how shitty some guys are….because I get tired of hearing about it from the women who are stalked / abused…….and go on another board and wonder out loud if I possess any of those same traits.
Some people on this board, and others, are so wrapped up in drama, and childish in their minds and actions, that they don’t know how to behave as adults.
They whine and stomp their feet when they don’t get to do exactly what they want….they complain upstairs without going to the mod first….and they engage in gossip and outright lies.
Here’s a clue……just because you’re not one of the popular people on the board…..doesn’t mean there’s a “clique”……it might just mean that you’re simply an asshole that no one likes. Ponder that.
And……just because I HATE all the backchannel bullshit that goes on….because some can’t act like adults…….to anyone who outright spreads lies about people just to cause harm…….go fuck yourself.

Seriously. You gossip queens (men and women) need help. What do you gain by trashing someone else with made up shit? I never gave a rat’s ass when you did it to me……but you’ve tried to cause harm to people I know….and that’s pathetic. You’re pathetic.
To the new mod……
Best of luck. Try to keep sane when the honeymoon period is over and you see how much time and effort it takes. And WATCH YOUR BACK. People have no limits to what they will do or say to get what they want. Never forget that this warning extends to other mods as well. There are some who will throw you under the bus just for their own gain….or just for fun.
It’s been my honor to be the inmate in charge of the asylum for a while.
There’s great people on these boards and in this community.
It’s for them that I gave my effort and time.
I thank you for the opportunity, understanding, support, advice, and respect that you have afforded me.
To the good people of the boards…..you have my admiration and appreciation.
To the others? Weeeell……..not so much. Lmao!
