Does Date-Check really work?

I am relatively new to the service, and twice recently the providers insisted on getting references directly from me, without even checking my profile on the service.

Are others having the same experience?  Not sure what I am paying for at this point...

But then I'm a diamond level member. Generally it is all I need. It is great if you travel a lot.

Not all providers accept datecheck as a reference.

It may be that they don't trust you quite yet.  If you don't have any providers who have approved you there yet, or not many it is just a cya kinda thing for most of us.
NOTHING IS FOOL PROOF even Date-Check.

only if the client has provider Okays on there. Do you have any of them on DC?

I've got 4 of them.  I'll never have 20 or 30 because I'm more of a "scratch the itch occasionally" guy than a hobbiest...

Thing is, the two providers that I am referring to never even checked my D/C profile to even know about those "OK"s.  I can see who has viewed my profile on D/C.  I guess those two folks just use D/C as another advertising opportunity, and don't really trust the verifying functionality.

I'll stick with the service for a while and see if I get happier with it...
