I was reading a discussion on the general forum about charities and it compelled me to share something I’ve noticed about providers: in my experience providers tend to be more sensitive to those in need, like a homeless person for example.  

One gal in particular really moved me at how reactionary she was to the needy. In one instance I found myself feeling somewhat shamed at how she responded to a beggar that I knew I’d have simply ignored (more likely flipped off!) at the time. My observations and resulting self reflection made me more sensitive to those in need.  

I know this is a fuck board, but fuckers can help those in need as well as anyone else can, and perhaps more so. Look around. There’s someone near you who could be greatly encouraged by something as simple as inviting them to share a meal with you.

....with a "good afternoon how are you today?", because there but for a little good fortune and the grace of God.....
