Is it rude to politely ask to your client to write a review after your session is over?

I certainly do not mind writing a review if I am asked to do so...  As long as the provider is not trying to influence the review, then there should not be an issue.  An honest review goes far on these boards.

However, if your client refuses, it should not be held against him...  Some just prefer not to write them.

We all know that reviews, especially good ones, help you out.

not rude at all. I don;t mind doing it after a fun session. If I didn't particularly enjoy myself, I will politely decline.

as always, it depends on how you ask...and how good/bad the session was

I agree with you all...

But...I think the key to the question is “after your session is over”.

I would not appreciate a discounted fee offer before the session (although discounts are welcomed) for a good review understanding that I may have made a decision on the provider based on other perhaps over-rated reviews.  Its just uncomfortable for me that is, knowing that I may need to “promise work” or a delivery after the fact; after all I am in it for the pleasure.

On the other hand, it may be a good idea to know that one does write reviews prior to the session thereby adding an incentive to the session.  After all we know there are bonuses and alternatives to pleasures and exchange!

Good Luck!

The twisted sentence structure, begging for deals.  I don't know,  feels familiar, smells suspicious.  Just a thought

I doubt that 2not would have had the foresight to create another user account that far in advance of his public ridicule.

Good comments, all. I have seen many (too many??) providers, but very seldom write reviews. In fact, I only write a review when asked by the provider. I have never been asked before the session or offered a discount to do so. I guess I'm picking the right providers??  LOL

Especially if you rocked his world!

Have a Happy Thursday

I would imagine you would only ask those you had a great encounter with and only after. Maybe send a brief yet thoughtfull email etc. I've never been one to "kiss and tell" but would/do consider the request to be a compliment. You are doing the best for yourself and only select the "best" to attest to an encounter with you.Consider that most pleasure seekers with any sense will choose providers based on review research and/or recomendation it's just plain good business.

You just should not ask him what he will write or rate you. However, I see no problem asking a client foe a review.

I am always pleased to right a review after a good session, and alternatively I have seen a few providers who prefer to remain more anonymous and I am also pleased to respect their wish not to post reviews.

Reviews should only be written if and when the client wants to do so. Providers asking for reviews leads to several unpleasant drama being hashed out on the boards and in their private lives.

Reviews should be earned not coerced.

Do understand that all kinds of shenanigans goes on behind everyone's behind including free sessions, discounts, etc., and always ends up getting the provider banned, tangled up personnel fights while others adding fuel to the fire, etc.

Do understand, my little post is not going to any of it so, just IMHO.
