Then go for it. Personally, I wouldn't go there and be called a cheap ally cat.  
OTOH, there are providers who offer 1/2 hour sessions and I am sure many of them would be happy to dance and pose for 29 minutes and 30 seconds

If a lady wants to see someone at that rate she would offer it to begin with. Why not find a lady that offers half hours at your price point instead of insulting the ones that dont.

I appreciate the honest feedback. That's what I was hoping for. I certainly wouldn't mean it as an insult. As I near the big 6-0, ED has certainly become an issue. Usually can't keep it up for main event, but enjoy the company and playfulness of attractive, younger women. Staying for an hour is now such a waste of time for me and the provider and as I say FS is usually not an option.

And I get that top shelf providers don't want to negotiate . If they don't offer 1/2. , is it wrong to ask if they'd consider 1/2 if you don't mention rate? I figure if they are interested, they'll mention price.

It's not so much inappropriate as it is annoying. If a lady does not put a 30 minute rate on her website, it usually means she does not offer it.

Either pay her rate or find someone at your price point. Please don't haggle! Its annoying and insulting. If they are interested they will offer that rate to begin with! I have never met one single lady that has said "oh yea sure, I don't mind being haggled at all!"

You are paying for her time - nothing else. If you are asking to pay for "a 30 minute session that includes just modeling and a HJ for say 150-200", you are openly admitting to solicitation for prostitution. This kind of statement leads to you getting a lawyer on retainer and programming his number into your speed dial.

If you mentioned any service for a price that is illegal. I am not a huge fan of half hour dates. I only did it once. Even a hour goes by too quickly.

But I'm smart enough not to mention the activities I'm interested in during the initial discussion unless it's somebody I've seen before. I realize I didn't convey that that in my original post. My fault.

It's absolutely fine as long as you ask when you're  initially setting up your date.   However once a date is set any changes that reduce an agreed upon deal would definitely be frowned upon.  In the same breath many ladies will in fact try to upgrade your date once she has successfully peaked your interests.

It's a purely personal thing, but if a lady is offended at you asking - assuming that you do it politely - then she probably does not deserve your business. Worst case always should be that she politely declines and the. You get to either go with the hour or move on elsewhere.

I've always wanted to use that line from ANIMAL HOUSE.

She can and often  will say no.  You must respect the no and move on.

I am a big fan of 30 minute appointments.  I am usually "one and done", so booking an hour is a waste of 30 minutes for me.  30 minute appointments also allow my "hobby dollars" to go further.  You can find a lot of great 30 minute providers in the 7/7 range.  Most providers who are $300/hour and 8/8 or better do not offer 30 minute appointments, but I think they use the higher pricing to screen their clientele more than anything.  It does not hurt to ask, but there will be some providers who will be offended and blacklist you.....I have found this out the hard way on more than one occasion. LOL

It's one of the more common complaints honestly from ladies that whom otherwise love what they do.  Ginger also made a good point about the safety issue as well.
