Is "girl next door" a complement?

Or it is just a polite way to say that the girl is homely? Providers, would you be happy if someone describes you as the girl next door?

I have never heard the term "girl next door" used as anything but a complement about her looks and her demeanor. I associate it with her being a down to earth, unassuming person. It brings to mind for me a very attractive, casually confident women.

Others may mean something different.  But what I think of when I say it, is a girl who is beautiful but maybe not super model skinny or whatever the media tells us is hot.

The truth is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so one man's "Girl Next Door" could be another's homely girl.

the one that has the hot secrets that make men real men!  They have the innocent facade on the outside but in the bedroom they will knock your socks off!   Be wary of the "Girl next door"!   And have fun with her!!!

My opinion of course!

Did you tell me that your neighbor is moving out?  Hmmm, that would make you the girl next door.  BTW, I lost a sock at your place.  :)

I've always thought of this description as a compliment. The lady you see in your everyday life that can drive you crazy. It's the old Ginger vs. Mary Ann question if personal choice ...movie star or GND?

To me a 'girl next door' is like Marianne from Gilligan's Island.  She is good looking and usually a little shy, but she does not have the outward sex appeal of a Ginger.  A session with a GND is not necessarily a GFE or PSE, but is kind of slow going as you feel each other out, but once things 'click' you ravage each other like long lost lovers.  I would classify one of my all time favorite providers as a GND.

it's that bitch next door then I politely refer to her as "That Bitch Next Door".

The "Girl next door" to me is:  ALL NATURAL , blonde hair, blue eyes, all American, friendly and super down to earth.  So in a nut shell: ME
