Yes, but I agree with Mongo - something like the Amazon system.  I'm not sure "like" means anything in this context.  Are you liking the hobbyist, his review, the lady being reviewed, are you agreeing with your personal experience, etc.?

I think a simple "helpful" or "not helpful" vote button would be... well... helpful.  And hobbyists could get points (upvotes, karma, whatever) for contributing helpful reviews.  And if you get enough points you could be crowned "King of the Mongers."  Sweet...  Or at least "Captain on the Ship of Fools."

Assuming you can -  some way of peer judging the reviews (using a "like" system) might be an interesting additional way of ranking reviews as opposed to the date of the review and looking at who the reviewers have reviewed.  Sort of like the Amazon system...  

Certainly subject to some abuse (just like the Amazon system..) - but... just like the Amazon system, probably still worth while

I think it would be great for a "like the review" button.  The lady gets likes usually on her ad.  Liking the review might encourage the "shy" guys to test the waters?  LOL! I don't know.  I just know we need more "liking" on ter!

Oh, you mean as incentive to get guys to write reviews?  Well, they get 15 days of TER VIP per review already - although it's arguable how much of a motivator that is.

Hmmm, maybe if TER chipped in and had a policy like for every 10 (20, 50?...) "helpful" votes you get on a review you get another 15 days.  That is incentive not only to write "barely passable" reviews, but to write informative and helpful ones as well.  Just a thought.

PS:  I agree with you on more liking going around.  In the virtual world and the real one.  :-)

Well....since you put it that way....not necessarily a huge incentive, but maybe more an ego booster? Sort of like the TER chicklet of the month?  Just because you are "liked" doesn't mean you'll be more popular or will have more appointments.  I suppose in this genre, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  

Another option:  What if, just a what IF,  the "liker", (not licker, LMAO) is known?  That might be kind of cool, no?

Sure, why not?  I imagine there would be some very entertaining interviews at least.  Lol.

Not sure about knowing who the likers are though.  If that would help or hurt someone's incentive to like a particular post/review/ad.  But on a related note, I always thought it would be a nice marketing tool if girls could see who actually "liked" their ads...  Might find some potential clients that way.  Just sayin'.  ;-)
