Perhaps you speak none but the truth. If so, I empathize with your situation.  Been there, RECENTLY.

Your post however, is out of bounds.  You want a freebie.  You are playing the emotional sympathy card.  It will not (and should not) work here.  I find it repulsive.

Providers are working hard to support themselves and their families.  A noble cause.  Get freebies from your friends.

It's OK to be down.  Everybody encounters misfortune and adversity.  It's how you handle it and respond that matters.

Best of Luck to you.

A tiny wee wee and need a woman to help me boost my ego.  Any woman who thinks she can help me feel like a man call me asap.  Oh, I'd prefer to not pay you either, so lets just call it charity shall we?

Just out of curiosity Frank, why would a company give you more severance than 2 weeks - unless it was part of massive layoffs?? I mean what would be there incentive to incur the extra cost?

I actually want to leave a job - but don't want to quit. I would like a voluntary layoff and some severance. But again, what would be the negotiating strategy in your opinion?

Thanks.
