I'm curious about preferences for incall/outcall on both the provider and hobbyist side.

There are the obvious things like a hobbyist with nowhere to host or safety/time/convenience for a provider that can influence this.

I've done both in some cases with the same provider and had different experiences  -  can't say one was better than the other, just different.   Maybe the providers were more relaxed in an incall situation -- maybe I was more relaxed in the outcall situations.

What are your preferences and do you think it makes a difference in a session all other things being equal?

Prefer in home base and out on out base. Reason, you can figure out.

Overall, I'd say I prefer Incall but that has more to do with living an hour or more from the northern Perimeter of 'the ATL' than anything else.

All other things being equal: I've done both and have to admit that I slightly prefer Incall, but more so in particular for the first date. With newly met friends, outcall can be a bit intimidating for them (unknown locale, unknown guy, etc.). Allowing the ladies 'home field advantage' usually makes for a better first experience in the hobby as providers seem to be more vulnerable than clients in a myriad of ways.  After the first date, I've found subsequent outcalls to be more enjoyable than the incalls since there is then a bit of familiarity and these outcalls often amount to more of a Hotel Sex-Booty Call with an Ex GF, - which is quite fun for me.

There have been a few times I've seen providers for the first time at my hotel room . Though they ended up being wonderful experiences for me, I could sense there was some hesitation on her part that had to be overcome before the fun really gets going. Again, the second visit was better.

To come over to my place.linen is fresh,lots to sample in the frig.,drinks are "on the house",1000+ channel U-verse,Jacuzzi,pool,clothing is optional,no neighbors( can get loud as they want to ),candles & music are always on....
You get the idea.It's easy ,it's relaxed and all the focus is on my guest.They can see it ,feel it and hence they quickly become comfy.

I prefer outcalls - by far.  I've done both and just prefer to not have to drive to a location and wonder what the situation is - especially apartment complexes where neighbors are everywhere.  Simply for the fact that you never know how much traffic is happening at an incall.  I'm single and have a quiet neighborhood.  So, for me, I just feel more relaxed - and I know LE or webcams/blackmail is not waiting for me on the other side of the door.  With agencies, there is also the fear of seeing another guy when entering or exiting that might be someone I know.

Incall for sure... For one,I don't feel like paying for a hotel. Secondly I'm not about to bring an escort to my house for safety reasons. Lastly, outcalls are more expensive. The only downside to incalling is sometimes the incall location can be sketchy.
