Well, I think I would charge what the market would bear for the services and goods I was offering.
Here is where the rub starts. Things that need to be considered externally are the economic times of my location. If there are lots of clients who have a large amount of expendable income then I probably can charge a premium provided I am providing the services/experience my clients are looking for. If I am trying to run my business during tough economic times does it make sense to raise my rates when there is more competition and when people are bargain shopping?
Do I want to, and can I, provide a true courtesan experience? Or do I want to be a more typical escort who wants to get someone to pay me for sex for 30 to 60 minutes and then just blow out of there.
What do I offer aesthetically? Am I of an age my clients want to see? Is my appearance and hygiene always impeccable? Do I have a body that men can wait to get their hands on? Do I have incredible hair that some men can't resist? Do I have breasts that fine art imitates? Or is my ass so firm and round that I could crack a walnut on it?
How is my performance? Do I provide the "standard services" or do I provide a true GFE or PSE or courtesan experience. What do the gents in my area expect in general? In Atlanta, I would say that from what I read most gents for a GFE expect dfk, cim, cuddling and talk. Do I do that or do i just want to fuck and run and do everything covered? Do I try to make every meeting an experience? I have met a few ladies over the years that each meeting is extraordinary. They took the time to make everything special; lighting, ambiance, their bodies, their attire, their make-up or lack thereof, everything was thought through. These ladies can and should be able to charge a premium. However, there ladies typically have paid their dues in one form or another. They may be educated, have spent time refining  themselves, spend countless hours attending to physical attributes or work their way up the ladder through agencies and dealing with owners and pimps. It seems that currently, any 18 yo comes on the scene, inexperienced, talent yet proven and thinks they can jump into the "higher" rate escorts and climb to the top. Some will make it, most won't. These same ladies, if they were to charge a bit less and maybe learn from a mentor, could earn a considerable income to start but learn the ways to becoming a top provider.
One of the things that has made the Atlanta market and maybe others, confusing and sometimes difficult, is that the lines separating escorts and street whores and their pimps has become less clear. There are ladies who would never work their way off the street who today can end up on a web site and be making more money for their pimps than ever before.  Here again this goes back to the client base. the average guy who used to have to cruise the streets for a low$ bj can now find it online. Then you add in the "boards" and the lines blur further. Which agencies are legit and which are just fronts for street pimps.  They are here on this board and as time goes on the lines will blur further. So what does that mean for the independent provider who is fighting the dollar wars with agencies and other escorts?  That is to be seen.
As a provider goes through life changes, aging, weight issues, breasts sagging, birth marks, is it “fair” that she should have to charge less to compete? No but it might be necessary.
So with all of that said, if I was a provider, I would fucking starve to death!!!! LMAO!!!!

Personally, I agree with charging as much as the market will allow to generate two appointments /day every day.

However, I would allow all clients to run a tab with no credit limit and no time limit for payment.
