Greetings,

I am wondering how screening works if you are in the military. I mean as referenced in the screening posts the purpose, to weed out axe murderers and the boys in blue is already done for you, you can't have a criminal record nor another job if you're active duty. Does this help me or hurt me? The other issue is that there isn't really an ext to Matt3214's desk.
I am aware if the newbie forum and have read all the stickied screening posts but chose to post this here because it's my current region and if there are any ladies or agencies that have any input some perhaps that I would want to patronize.

I'm going to piggy back Jasmine... I came from ER. I think that would be your best bet then you'll have a reference for life. Monica has a VERY particular screening system. And she is very Newbie friendly. OR join P411 or Datecheck.

Getting the first reference is crucial.  Start with Date Check.  Once you are approved there, find a newbie-friendly lady; Date Check has quite a few.  After you have seen her, have her give you a confirmation (that she has seen you) on Date Check, and a whitelisting on TER.  Repeat the process two or three times.  Assuming you meet the ladies' other criteria (e.g., you are clean, show up on time, and follow her rules), you should be in great shape.

You know the drill. It's usually wives of deployed guys ( west-pac widows etc. ) female service members themselves or girlfriends of guys in. They use their access to the troop locaters to see who you are and what your MOS is (no MPs allowed-Ha). Find two or three who are in this world too then you would get the verification sites.

Applies to active duty only !  At least 60% of the reservists in Bravo Co 4th Recon down there on Windy Hill are Cops somewhere in five counties.  Who's fooling who ?
