I talked to her, she made an off hand comment that all her "guys" are mobile ATM's......

wow.....still grinding that axe, i see.......don't think all guys look at girls as if they were out to screw one over and don't think all girls look at guys as atm's........would it not make more sense to take this issue up with your former atf, as this seems to be where the hostility is coming from or are you hoping she just is going to read it on here?    Just a suggestion............

It's pretty sound advice:

best way to get over one girl is to get under another and let her ride you cg til you can't even remember your ex-girlfriend's name anymore!

I'm sure you're hurting but it sounds like she has little regard to your feelings anyway..

had some sympathy on the first post as you seemed fond of her ( saw her for four years) ,  and truly hurt or disappointed......but as this continues and you seem to be flogging a dead horse, wonder if she thought it better to run for the hills or cut loose someone who may be becoming scary or possessive.......have seen posts here about atf's, feelings, dating atf etc., but this hostility and constant reminders seem to be a little over the top

I did not say you should get out of the hobby because of this girl and back to boring sex 2-3x a month!!!!

I was saying sleep with lots of other beautiful ladies!!!!

In all seriousness, you seem to be way more hurt by your ATF than you believed was possible.  I don't think there is anything wrong with that.  I care endlessly about the people in my life (hobby and civie) and regardless of the unspoken "rules" in this hobby, I'd be devasted if a client called me "a hole to bust a nut in" which is pretty much what your ATF said calling you a "mobile ATM".

Take a deep breath, let it hurt, and let yourself heal:  whether with your wife, providers, or a new ATF.
Don't let her keep talking down to you either, it's not healthy for either of you (it's her defense mechanism for getting you to leave her alone--- trying to hurt you more by saying mean things).

Lots of love,
DK

DK. That sound like the right thing to do no matter the troubles ... or lack of troubles. Either way a great idea. Wish I was in Atlanta.

First of all the subject is a joke which some of you may get.  As to your dilemma maybe your seeking something in the hobby which is rarely attainable.  My observation is that the hobby can have a profound impact on your sex life with your significant other.  Its easy to step out and get what your SO won't do or is reluctant to do or isn't interested in doing given other issues.  So without fully appreciating your situation, I'd ask you to consider if addressing the home front is part of the answer.

Just speaking from experience.

If not then take DK's advice.

justification or right to complain, seeing that you are married.

It sounds as if there is more that is missing in your life than just companionship for hire.

Mid-life crisis, perhaps?

Obviously by your comment you are single. There are a lot of men that hobby whose wives have no sexual desire left. Menapause, hormonal imbalances and other medical conditions can contribute. Where I would feel the need to examine my life would be if I was single and HAD to p4p. If you took married men out of the hobby what percentage would you say remained?

you gotta screen more and adjust your attitude.  Some services are rip offs, fortunantly though, MOST aren't.  Time to make an attitude adjustment and SCREEN more.  Good luck.

really doesn't address the issue of this post or what has occurred.......this is a scorned lover talking , who readily admits he has seen the signs over the last four years of seeing this particular woman but obviously chose to either ignore them or make excuses.....once again it is the repeated posting of a situation, that supposedly has been handled privately between them.  The mere fact he has posted this 2 times but wont name her, makes me think he is hoping for some kind of reconcillation with her or shame her into something......have to admire whoever she is for not jumping into the fray tho.......there may be a valid reason for cutting him loose, and there are two sides to every story

single.

If I were married or in a relationship, I assure you that I would not hobby. I have taken extended breaks for that very reason (relationships). I have to much respect for my better half to engage in such activity while in a relationship.

I also use 1 simple litmus test to govern my behavior while in a relationship. If I can't openly tell my better half what I'm doing, then I shouldn't be doing it.

But, to each their own. That is simply how I choose to live my life. What works for me may not work for you or anyone else. As such, I won't waste your time or mine offering solutions as to what those who are married should do. The only thing I will say (and said to the original poster) is to not wear one's heart on his sleeve.

As for why a single person would pay for companionship, the answer varies from person to person. Of course, no one HAS to go the route of paying for companionship. It's a purely voluntary decision. Similarly, no one HAS to go the route of cheating on one's spouse. Again, it's all about choice.

For me, it's about "time". Specifically, I don't have an abundance of free time at my disposal. As a busy executive, I find it very effective and time-efficient to arrange for companionship when the time best suits me. So, I choose to do so, but no one forced this choice upon me.

As for your last question, if you talked to some of the providers, you'd be amazed to learn how many single, professional, handsome, successful executives they actually have as clients. And unlike their married clients, the providers don't have to worry about potentially enduring the wrath of a vengeful, vindictive spouse.

Hope this clears things up for you.

True. But you'd also be amazed to learn how many married, professional, handsome, successful executives they actually have as clients. As for enduring the wrath of a "spouse," yes, that can only happen if married. But please don't kid yourself that there are not also vengeful, vindictive SO's out there. In terms of angry SO's, the ladies biggest concern shouldn't be whether a client is married or not. It should be whether or not the client is smart enough to keep the his activities hidden. Common sense and some preventative measures will just about remove any chance of being caught.

But hey, what do I know? I'm just a single hobbyist with no knowledge of what the ladies really want. How about we ask them. Make a post and ask the ladies if they want all of the married gentlemen, or the gentlemen with SO's, to stop booking appointments. Ask them if they would rather not have to worry about the vengeful, vindictive SO's and thus only date men who are single. I'd be interested in the answer.

And for the original poster, dude, get over it. You've been in the hobby for four plus years ... you're not a damn newbie. And the advice to keep the hobby in perspective is useful advice for all of us (newbie or seasoned veteran). It's a business first and foremost. If you don't know that then you need to take a break from the hobby. Seriously, please stop crying. We get it, you're hurt. You got kicked in the nuts because you lost perspective. Learn from it and move on. Like Dakota said, take your money, find another beautiful chick and go have some fun.

How can you possibly be upset when you are spending time with a hot lady seeing who can outdo the other one?

As always, be safe and have fun
