Hello All, I watched a special the other night in regards of the dangers to the providers in our hobby. Seriously, ladies do some of you enjoy what you do? I would just feel like crap if I knew someone was "making" you do this. I know it is a job and thank God there are providers out there and I truly respect all of you. Just curious and starting to have a guilty conscious. I look forward to your responses.

I'm new  6 month's at it now.  I thought it would change the way I feel about myself.  But the truth is every person I have met in this hobby has been awsome to me!!  And I do enjoy seeing my regular's I look forward to seeing them. And I know they look forward too seeing me. I do respect myself!!!   The GOV dont pay my bill's I do. I dont ask anyone for anything. In this economy that speak's for it's self dont you think?? And being a strong minded female no one could make me do this!! It's a choice I make everyday! I do pick and choice who I see!!  Just like the men pick the lady's they want to spend time and hard earned money on.  I'm thankful I'm a female and can do this! But it is very scarey sometime's!! I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!!!! And all you guy's out there go treat yourself to a nice piece of ASS!!!

You will not on this board find not even one provider that is being forced to work. The ones that are being forced you will find on the now defunkt CL and maybe soon to be defunkt BP... Thats Pimp action. Theres no Pimps pushing their wares here. Theres just proffessional phone people, booking agents and house Moms. And Everyone of them happy to be here

This board is  about proffessionals, some may prefer that they wouldnt have to do this to make ends meet but, thats the furthest extent to that.. This board is fulla proffessional Nymphomaniacs That are happy to be here and you should have no guilt at all. The media and their take on what we do is totally skewed and unrealistic. Written by people that have no true clue as to what goes on.

I feel bad for the girls who feel like this is it.......I do this because I truely love what I do and i love to show off hehe.  Now for women who are forced into this or really don't want to be in the profession and feel like its the last resort, well I feel like you guys can sense that.  There are a few signs dealing with this types of providers, attitudes, the chick just lays there, she gives you no exciting options, no moaning or response period...I can go on......But Like i said I truely do love what I do, It excites me to meet new guys and show off my talents.

Personally, I entered the provider/hobbyist subculture on my own free will.  I was a stripper before I did this, which I did to pay for college.  I studied what I wanted to in college, so that was a labor of love for me.  I switched over to escorting, and I found it very liberating, compared to strip clubs.  I've been told I have a "devil may care" personality, so that is why providing comes naturally for me.

I have other opportunities outside of sex work, but I stay in this underground world because I'm happy here.  I have fun with what I do, because I like meeting so many interesting people, and I value the freedom/flexibility that is inherent in my position.  

As usual, the answer would be depends on the agency you frequent. If you eliminate the sensational drama part from the show, and sharpen it on the reality stone you will get a different view. If someone is a captive or abused, one should able to spot that from 100 miles. I very much doubt, this is the case with most of the elite agencies in town. Then there is BP (not saying all BP is bad) crowd from there, you can pick out who is controlled by Pimps and who is not.judgement

Like any business, you have to use your judgement. It is decision you have to make whether you want to buy your Stereo from the back of a vehicle because price is great or from Best Buy.

I hear ya.  I am a nympho too and totally enjoy being a provider. I have broken more toys then i wish to count. :P

Notwithstanding the few women that are (or claim to be) truly nymphos, the question that settles this for me is "If a provider could make the same amount of money with the same effort doing something else, would they?"

My sense is that high 90s% of them would.

There are undoubtedly some that are in horrible situations with pimps etc, but most are "made" to do it out of choice (or lack thereof)

That said, i am sure that some of the quality/top end providers make a shit load of money and reconcile that pretty well.
