I hate the telephone, e-mail, and text messaging.....

I have had several providers tell me how they wish the could turn off their telephone as all it does is ring, and that they are bombarded with text messages and e-mails.  One provider explained that she receives upwards to 100 e-mails a day and over 50 text messages, not to mention the phone calls.  Another provider told me of an individual who calls her every day at 8:00 am, noon, and before he goes to bed.  Apparently, us guys, who have seen a lady, or will be seeing a lady, think that we should be in constant contact with our "lady friends."  Yours truly has been guilty of this in the past before being made aware that this is a business.  Of course, our "lady friends" are nice to us, but they do have a life of their own, including a family and/or another job.  I call it "mental affairs" via the electronic media.

As a former executive I remember receiving 200 e-mails a day and countless phone calls, including those that said "I e-mailed two hours ago and you didn't reply."  It got to the point that I had to manage my time efficiently.  Every morning, I would screen my e-mails to determine priorities and addressed those for about the first hour of my day.  I then did my other responsibilities, checking my e-mails again for about an hour after lunch going through the same routine, and then after the office closed, spending another half-hour on e-mails.  I would eliminate any e-mail older that 30 days as the concern was most likely addressed by yours truly as individuals would send multiple e-mails on the subject.  I also would not accept phone calls between certain hours, generally between 1 and 4 pm when I was most productive and when I returned calls.

I want to say, "guys this is a business."  When we make appointments with a plumber, a doctor, a dentist, we don't keep contacting them to see how they are doing (unless you're gay and want to have a mental affair).  In fact, we don't talk to them until the next appointment.

I apologize for this long rant, but I know ladies who are at their wits end about this.  They don't want to tell their clients not to contact them in fear of losing business, especially in this economy.  Ladies, if not imposing, I would like your comments on this subject.  You can PM me if you would like as you may have ways of handling this situation which you may allow me to share with others.

it's not your issue.  and, a provider's business is different than that of a plumber, doctor, dentist.  It was tactfully recommended in a post below that the hobbyist exchange communications with his shortlist of providers to help decide which one to choose.  It's part of the business.  It may be annoying to the provider after a while, as are some aspects of any job.  But it's still part of the job.

A little confused here.  Are you based in Altanta or Chicago?  Is yours meant to be a universal comment encompassing all providers or just the "several" with whom you have conversed?  Ever considered the ones telling you this were trying to give you a hint?

I am not saying this does happen nor that it does not.  I am saying, however, that it is my observation that the ladies here in Atlanta, especially the ones that participate on this forum, are perfectly capable of handling their own business and affairs in a manner that is best for themselves.

Normal day for me 100+ call's ,30+email's 40+text.I know it get's old.I contact my ATF alot don't think it bothers Her,I think she would tell me.

All electronic gadgets are designed to be controlled by human beings who are competent in using their big heads to make decisions.

1) No reason to answer all calls regardless of activity you are engaged in such as driving and fucking

2) Same goes for email and text. Text and email filtering goes even further, they can be blocked and moved to trash automatically

3) Read the user guide to find out how.

4) Problem solved

5) You have control, use it.

really dont bother me at all. Atleast I am on the gents minds and they are having fun. When I have had enough I just turn my phone off and my computer. If someone is going past the point of just being frinedly to annoying, I just ignore them to be honest. I am thankful for the guys that think of me as not only a provider but a friend :)
