With the recent tragic events in Atlants and elsewhere many posts have been inspired about the subject of safety. First let me say that bad things Happen both in and outside the hobby. Date rape and murder do occur everyday reguardless oF our involvement in our chosen lifestyle. Atlanta is ranked in the 5 most dangerous cities in america. There are no easy answers. IMO everybody has a right to protect themselves.If you choose to arm yourself make sure you get competent training.If the first time you have to use it is under duress it will probably not do any good and may well be used against you.It takes a lot of training to be able to handle a stress situation. As far as security goes , I see that as a right of the Lady but please be descrete.Nobody likes to feel threatened ,clients or providers.I for one would not see a provider if I felt uncomfortable OR if I thought She felt threatened by me. How can you have any fun with that hanging over a session. Trust your instincts and be aware OF WHAT IS GOING ON ARROUND YOU AT ALL TIMES.   Play safe and be prosperous.

I hardly believe that one incident should focus a spot light on the entire hobby. I'm venturing to say that everyone drives at least 5 miles every day in Atlanta and you know Dale Earnheart just died recently in a car accident. SO, needless to say caution should be used at all times and knowing who you are with and what you are dealing with would probably be a great idea.  

To have anyone believe that the situation with that individual is indicative of an experience with a reputable provider is absurd. The hobby, as a whole, has always been suggested to incorporate a certain amount of safety awareness and some common sense.

My sympathy to friends, clients and family of the deceased but please stop linking it with the reputation of the Atlanta area providers. This forum allows enough information and workable tools to research providers and allow hobbyists to make informed decissions, please do not negate the contribution of reputable providers  by  linking their services with the individual discussed.

does provide some very good tools to be able to pick the best of providers available anywhere. I hope you are not trying to say that the deseased was less than reputable. Some may think this was implied by your post. Shit happens and I doubt that it was in any way her fault for her service. Possibly carelessness in holding on to too much cash and staying too long at one location along with other possibilities. I agree this is ONE incident that could happen to anyone in the wrong place at the wrong time.I hope the Perp gets caught soon so the hysteria will lessen and we can go back to enjoying ourselves. Not that this should be forgotten by any means. Please folks , just keep all things in perspective and understand there are risks involved for both sides. Do your homework and research. Let's try to match good providers with good clients and not get careless.
