All the "Thanking the Troops" stuff is ok but we have Veteran's Day for that.  

Memorial Day is about "Thanking the Dead". If you must speak to the living, "Thank the Families of the Dead." The Moms, Sisters, Daughters, GFs and Wives are easy to recognize today at various parades. Remind them that THEIR Sacrifices and those of their loved ones will not be in vain.

Thank you for starting this very honorable thread Mo.  And to all the Vets and military families who have lost loved ones, thank you for your service and sacrifice.

I sign my enlist papers for PT service in the Air Force Guard on Wednesday because I too believe in this country and want to support.
