Lady longevity in this business is too short and too many are either flighty or so popular you can never schedule.
I think best advice is to find a small roster of great players, see them regular enough that they give you preference placement on the dance card, but not often enough where it becomes a real gfe event. Plus, once you have your regular roster of four or five, always float a new one into the rotation. Keeps it fresh for you and everyone else stays honest on price and service. Plus when one exits, you are ready to bring in new free agent.
In niche market areas consider outcalls and find comfortable hotels you can mutually agree on. Again keeps variation going and opens talent pool not normally considered in a specific community. if my strategy works for airport, I will work anywhere, you are not tied to your local, unless willing to accept chains
Keep enough distance that your prick and heart stay hard enough to move to next opportunity. don't become a heartless ass, but keep paid players separated from real life.
That's how you survive hobby long term, in small localized area. I got down to one provider in Dallas, zero in Chicago, and only two in Atlanta awhile ago, and it sucked getting players i wanted, when I wanted them.
