I prefer agencies and Independents that move their location, makes me feel safe. AwCrap to answer your question I prefer both, but Independents receive a slight edge just because of the safety issue.

I know this is old news but which do you prefer?  Atlanta is one of a few cities that seems to have several popular agencies.  Phoenix used to a few years back until a widely publicized agency bust that plastered the guys names all over TV, newspaper and the internet.  If I remember, the list was 600+ pages long.  Then there was a bust in Minneapolis that got huge attention.  In both cases, the local community went into panic before slowly returning to normal.  More recently, the DC area was rumored to have LE flipping whores, johns, moderators, dogs and small children in order to clean up the streets.  A lot of the rumors were bullshit in that case, but fear is a funny thing.  For those of you that never venture past the end of the MARTA line, DC was in shambles.  Clearly, agency busts can be devastating.  On the flip side, independents have drawbacks too.  If she gets sick there's no replacement.  You need to get screened each time you see a new girl.  There's no recourse beyond her if the service isn't up to par.  I'm sure that there are others that I'm missing.

So, do you prefer convenience or safety?  I suppose that I've shown my preference by my wording.

My issue with agencies is the potential exposure you can have when going to an agency's location.  I've used an agency a couple of times few years ago.  I saw guys coming out of the same apartment when I drove up and another guy waiting in the lot (VERY spooky). I've heard other men in the apartment at the same time in other bedrooms.  I need much greater confidentiality than these situations describe.  I could rent a room and have the lady come to me but the independent ladies I have seen have nice apartments that have their own attractions.

How about a knock on the door by the next visitor. Agencies, I mean good agencies know how to schedule. Never had such a problem. You have to pick good agencies with a good reputation.

I prefer agency. Lot's of ladies to choose from. One time screening. Easy to reach place. Safe area.
Like anything else it's the level of competence exhibited by those in charge. I'm happy with the agency I frequent. I have seen a few indies but I met them while they were with an agency. There is already a level of trust and the screening has been done.

I would pick agencies.

Generally speaking, I believe agencies are more reliable when it comes to ensuring the quality of their product (e.g. their models' appearance, performance, reliability, etc.). This comes inherently from 2 levels of quality control and accountability: that of the agency and that of the models themselves. Indies, however, are accountable only to themselves.

There is also the convenience factor with agencies. If a certain model isn't available, chances are another suitable replacement can be found. Not so much with independents, as they represent only themselves usually.

The quality of providers between agency and indies are generally on par with one another. While indies may make more than their agency counterparts, we've already established that there is no correlation between what a provider makes and her inherent quality and performance.

Client security for both agencies and indies should also be on par with each other. So long as both are prudent when it comes to not retaining personal identification information of clients, then both are effectively on par with each other.

overall an agency is going to be better at screening and should be more secure in locale,
Also, an agency is going to be more convenient in that they will have more
then one available choice.  

At the end of the day leo is lazy and goes to where the fruit is low hanging.

AwCrap, your points are all, well, on-point!   Why not use both?  There are no rules saying you have to pick one or the other.   :)

JacquesCinq, I disagree with your statement that "overall an agency is going to be better at screening and should be more secure in locale".   Every agency is different and every independent is different.  Personally, I screen to the max and have a very secure location without many visitors.

I also question that agencies screen better.  One of the local ones was recently busted in Florida.  That's a slip up at minimum or a sign of bad practice at worst.  Does the problem follow them back here?  Dunno but history has proven that agency busts are way better headlines than some indy getting popped.  I hope that answers your question of why I don't use both.  The one time I did use an agency they got no info from me at all.

LE does not have a preference when it comes to enforcing the law against either indies or agencies. As someone mentioned, it will go after "low hanging fruit" whether it is of an indy or agency nature.

You are correct, after rereading my post I made an absurd statement.

However i will say that Business savvy, intelligent goal oriented babes, who are smart independents are highly unlikely to draw any negative attention to themselves. Don't confuse these woman with BP street walkers as these woman are likely to draw negative attention.  

But i still stand by my original comments that even though i prefer both indies and agencies. The slight edge goes to well reviewed indies, because of the risk factor.

I give the edge to agencies in general because of the accountability factor, in terms of performance, reliability, and contingency.

And I do not believe your statement was absurd. It was your opinion and I respect your offering it in a professional manner.

Most busts are independants working alone or agency but on outcall..They feel theyre protecting a lone woman.. An agency apartment bust is rare and happens when the agency runs 24/7 buckwild with no onsite management.. A herd of inexperienced 19 year olds runnin in and out thinkin its a game.  So they get complaints.. first to management.. which then usualy asks you to leave because they dont want the cops there either! so.. youre wrong.

Wow Probably gonna make some people mad but here goes. This is not a standardized buisness like  a coffee shop or clothing store where there are operating standards that must be kept in order to survive. Not so in this buisness. This is a buisness based on individuals offerring a myriad of different delusions. An agency is only as good as its girls. That is the way I have always ran my show. You dont just hire anyone sight unseen to represent you. I have always preffered to work with fewer Quality ladies than a buncha 19 year old newbies that can be either great or terrible just to have a large roster.. That they think (maybe rightly so) gives them credibility.. I have found that most Independants are totaly insane LOL Most have started at agencys and cant get along with anyone and have to work solo. Or theyre too irresponsible and self centered to work With anyone and cant keep a schedule, most of the no shows you hear complained about right here.. well do a search 95%l Indi's... Theres one Indi thats lauded for her intelligence, college gal with degrees... LOL I wont tell ya who but she worked with me and had an appointment.. She left her key home.. so what did she do? Did she cancel the appointment, did she try to rent a hotel room, did she call anyone to try n get her a key quickly? No She busts the window and breaks into the apartment! So selfish and greedy for her $.. Doesnt know the name of who the apartment is rented to.. Knows nothing if cops or maintenance shows up from the sound of breaking glass.. what would she have done if they came? Oh sorry yeah I broke the window.. Uh no I dont live here.. Uh no I dont know who lives here.. BUT I had an appointment to screw the shit outta this guy officer and I couldnt dissapoint him..LMAOOOOOOO WTF is that????? Now she works alone in a hotel, where she belongs and I fear for you guys, because anyone capable of having no thought about yours or her ownn safety ALL she thought abought was $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Is a danger to us both! Then of course I incurred the expense of moving because I felt..on shaky ground.. Expenses like these. I call them Insanity expenses.. are the costs you guys never hear about that agency owners have to shell out after one of the insane ones does something insane!
(I have often wondered who was more insane? The insane ones or the ones that depend on the insane to make a living LOL LOL)

But....Thats because their lives are devoured by this buisness in the 24/7 of being (enter stage name here) The most successful women I know that have truly good lives because an agency takes care of everything for them.. They can seperate this from that and that gives them the quality time to persue whatever it is they desire whether its schooling or family.. They work their 30 hours and go home, take a shower and become Mom! They have real lives :) that they, with the money this gives them enjoy to the fullest :)

Now, I will say that about 20% of Indi's are rockin smart and goal orriented and dedicated they have  their allotted time.. whatever that may be.. 5 years of workin 24/7 banking it all and DONE. The other Indi's give them a bad name LOL Then theres the Highly sexxxed women that are in this for the money yes but also because they love it! Those Indi's are rock solid :) :)

In my rant I kinda lost my original train of thought and got off into this. I hope I havent offended any of my friends the  Rockin babes  that post here..You know Im not talkin about you personally its on overview after almost 2 decades in the game.

Screening. Some Indi's screen very well, some dont. Same as agencys.. like the agency I assume youre talking about well.. they obviously dont screen well and will their problems follow them here. I think it followed them there LOL.. They dont advertise in FL (I dont think) so..hadda be from an ATL ad.. You can tell if theyre screening you well or not by what theyre asking or dont ask and do they get in touch with you at work or whatever they do... You know that when you call and they dont ask much and you just say I used your service before.. they get you  right in.. ya know thats gotta be bad.. Danger Danger... or if you give a refferal, then call that refferal to see if they have gotten in touch.. find out they havent but youre booked anyway.. well ya know they didnt screen... So stay away. You guys need to screen too especially if youre one of the TOFTT types.

As to awcraps not having to give any info to the agency he used.. His Pedigree is spectacular so none was needed!! :) :) :) :) :)

Who says you have to choose between convenience and safety?  Or for that matter, between agency or independent? I think there are some great agencies and some great indies, and some not-so-great as well. Also, AwCrap, I am a bit disappointed in you. Not quite up to your usual acerbic (acerbitch?) par.

Did you expect me to attack agencies by name?  Was I supposed to bring up fake pictures, high drama along with the bust?  Should I cry out murder?  Oh sorry, that's a different agency, lol.  Was I supposed to mention all the agencies that have been banned for bad behavior?  I get it, you think all I can bitch about is fat old pros using photoshopped pictures.  Not true.  I'm not a one horse crapper.  In fact, the ladies working at these agencies are frequently screaming hot little girls.  I assume that in spite of not getting ID, the owners have verified that they are adults, but that aside most are very pretty.  I like fucking hotties but it's scary when you can't be sure if you'll get busted or the owner will have flashbacks of the 90's and kill you too.


Better?  I so hate to disappoint.  ;)

For people who don't have whole lot of free time, agencies seem to (me) work better. There are few f=good agencies in ATL. Catching up with indies is bit of a problem at times.

had a problem contacting an agency and making an appointment quickly on my tight time schedule.

Not so much with indies in general, but not all of them, as some indies smartly hire persons to make appointments on their behalf.

The value of having someone man the phones at all times cannot be underestimated.

Agencies accommodate last minute appointments better than indies.

Scheduling with an independent sometimes i have to book one maybe two weeks in advance to make sure im granted the appointment. You could call an agency any time of the day and they'll accommodate you.

In regards to "scheduling" agencies are better schedulers.
