I was stood up by Deanna. Not only did she stand me up but she didn't even call. We should stop supporting providers that aren't dependable.

I've have had the pleasure of Deanna's company on several occasions and she has never failed to arrive on time, or delivery as promised, and on most occasions she stayed far beyond the requested time.

Maybe there was some kind of mix up.

I guess the telephone was invented for clearing up these kind of mixups. I know providers get all upset about "no shows" and I don't blame them and I guess the same should go for providers as well. Just simple common courtsey, wouldn't you say?

Dude!! I feel your pain. I was stood up today also. Not by Deanna (I'm sure she had a valid excuse), but by someone who I thought I had become really cool with. Plus, she acted like she forgot the appointment, and I was her ONLY one for the weekend. So believe me, I do feel your pain. Did I mention, that this was going to be my "maiden voyage" in the hobby? I was under the impression that she was looking forward to this as much as I was. Oh well, life goes on. Keep your head up man, because I sure am!

Yes, I have been stood up many, many times; and yes, I have stood up gents as well.  Sometimes things don't work out well, or I get sick, or decide to have too much to drink the night before, or etc., etc.  All I can do is try to aplogize, and make it better.  If the gent reschedules, then I do my best to ensure he has a wondeful session to make it up to him; if he doesn't reschedule, there isn't much I can do about it.  I always try to explain why, and to be honest about it.  Some gents are more forgiving than others.  But I will never say that I didn't at least try to make up for it...

Knowing you have an apointment the next day, you go out and have too much to drink and then have to cancel or stand up a guy?

Remind me not to set up an appointment with you.

I'm with ya on that one.  If I have an appointment with anyone and it is remotely important to me, I make it a point to be able to make the appointment or give her as much notice as possible. Whether its funds, gifts, or Even Staying Sober.  Notice that drinking is her third reason for no show.  Doesn't sound like a provider for my tastes.  Then again, there are so many others to choose.

No showing for no reason given is inexcusable and reason for no more attempts for making an appt.  I do, however, have a heart and a reasonable mind - so there are reasons I'd try to set an appt. again.  The ISP being hung over is NOT one of these.

Be safe and be happy.

Well, not really...

First off, you'd be missing quite a lot by not seeing Sofia.  However, that's another story, although I doubt she would see you now.

Secondly, I'll stick up for the ladies here as well as any of us men.  We all have our own lives.  Sometimes things happen and you do what you have to do, which is not necessarily what you want to do.  I've had to cancel at the last minute and I've had providers cancel on me as I was on my way to see them...  Shit happens, deal with it.

I can't see how anyone can take this so personally when, in reality, this is business.  Would you be fuming if a business associate called you at the last minute to re-schedule?  I doubt it.

But it gets better.  Sometimes you can have a very good time with a provider even though she might jake your time.  GFE means service only, don't get to attached to a provider that you allow her to up-set you (just food for thought).  I've personally have had some really good sessions with providers who on my first visit, jake my time.  You'll get used to it, maybe!

You can't help but take things personally!  It takes a bit of experience to have the type of attitude that you do.  I also believe that he would be missing out not to see Sofia.

BTW, she'll see him again!  She has a big heart!  GFE means service, it does not mean that they are really your girl friend.

I can't even begin to tell you how many times this has happened to me.  Just last month, there was this killer provider visiting (all the right Joey features) and I scheduled a 2 hour session, showed up and she totally jaked my time.  But I just blew it off.  There will be another day.  It happens and it's not personally!

But, now you can appreciate how hard some of the older providers work (they tend not to jake your time) and why they sometimes don't want to see young hobbyist.  This door swings both ways.  I am truely sorry for new hobbyist that have this happen to them, because they don't know.  Experience hobbyist know better!

I wouldn't say that I have a lot of experience in this arena.  I am very new to the hobby.  However, I know exactly what this is and I don't kid myself about any of the facts.

In the past 2 weeks, I have had two highly regarded providers cancel on me at the last minute.  I will not give names because I do not feel that it is necessary.  Both cancellations were the result of life circumstance.  One provider could not even remember who I was when I called...  Did I take it personally?  Hell no.  How could I think that I am that important in their lives?  LOL.

My point was not to start a war here, I figure it doesn't really matter what the excuse is, they have the right to cancel.  Plus, I highly doubt a hung-over provider is going to tell you she is hung-over :)

Oh well, back to life....

Dude!! GFE was the furthest from my mind. Attached? Please! It's not that serious. I was disturbed by the lack of PROFESSIONALISM!! It is a business, right? I definitely know better now. BTW,there's no beef with the provider. We're still cool.

That's the point. In your scenario, your associate CALLED at the last second to cancel. Let me be quiet, you're not even talking about me. Carry on!!

I scheduled with Sofia thrice and she had to cancel all three times. Sofia is absolutely correct in saying that, she tries to explain and she did and I accept. I  honestly and sincerely believe, Sofia is GEM.

Even though we haven't met yet, we have become somewhat of friends becuase of the cancellation or whatever anyone wants to call it. I consider this to be a positive outcome of the previous events.

I guess, what I am really trying to say is, little understanding and compassion towards each other as human beings will always goes a Long, Long way.

Some of the posts here are ridiculous!  Would a gent rather I lied about it, and him show up with me sick!  Like anyone here has never drank a bit much before!  I was being honest, and it isn't like I wake up with a bottle, alright?!?  I pride myself on my service...but this isn't just money to me; if I know I won't be able to provide 100% of myself to my date, I will cancel; no ifs, ands, or buts.  I would rather be in tip-top shape; I could be depressed, hung-over, ticked off about something, or just not feeling "fresh", or bloated...We are women, after all; not robots.  If your wife says she has a headache, do you make her do it, or wait for another day?  She may or may not have a headache, but that doesn't matter.  Just because we are fulfilling fantasy here, doesn't mean we are not human beings.  I would love to get $50 from every cancellation I have had; that would be an extra few hundred every couple of months; but as long as a gent calls back to re-schedule, I don't mind.  I give a discount when I cancel, but rarely see a gent tip when he has had to cancel...

Sorry for the length, but this got blown all out of proportion!  Thank you to the gents who stood up for me...I do appreciate you, and you get an added discount just for reminding me some gents are soooooooo sweet....!!!

Hugs,

Sexy Sofia
