I don't look @ P-411's pre-screen necessarily as an aid to providers - I use it to get information about the availability of unlisted or 'special' services. It's informal and can save the provider time as well - she may know immediately that this is a non-starter and not go through the remainder of the screening process, just a simple reply of 'no thank you' is all that's required of her.
Let me just say, I get the premise...get screened ahead of time, saves time later, yada yada yada! But with P411 being a site set up specifically for screening, and as quick and efficient that it is on this particular site, WHY does anyone feel the need to get PRE-screened? I mean, being pre-screened is just about the same thing as getting pre-approved for a loan....you qualify, but you still get nothing.
Personally, I feel that these types of request are a waste of time. Especially when P411 has an actual appointment request button, that also sends your screening info to the provider along with the requested appointment time/date.
At least if you're going to pre-screen (maybe you don't have a concrete date, I get it) at the very least, send a follow up email to the provider letting her know you intend to book with her.
