What does it mean when a provider says French Lessons?

# 1 -  French lessons $100
# 2 -  French w/ American $150
# 3 -  US tour w/ a French guide $200

"American" isn't on that list.  A search for "American" returns lots of "African American" and "Native American"

I receieved the same "specials" list and was confused. I assumed American was just regular old sex.

...here's my interpretation (not that it makes any sense to me):
