or the Onion ring or whatevever but seems like it is a good time to learn about disguising your ip address and location by using something similar to the Onion Ring Network so you can choose which country you access TER.

Not a VPN expert, but I have had success using a program called Hide My Ass on my laptop.

Check out tunnel bear available on the App Store. Nothing to learn. They give you 500mb a month for free. $50/year unlimited. Just select the country and connect. Super easy. Working great for me.

Hi guys!

The first VPN app I tried on my Mac did not work for me. But I downloaded the Opera browser from their web site and Opera says I have unlimited VPN and obviously, it is working for me.

After downloading, go to settings/privacy/vpn and turn it on. The VPN symbol appears in your address bar. Click on it and choose an offshore location.

Hobby on!

I'm a MacOS user, too, and for any others out there, be aware that some VPN clients don't work well with the Mac out of the box. For some reason all my Macs don't like the IPsec protocol and only seem to work with Open VPN. Some client software comes set up only for IPsec and would just absolutely crash my home network, so my advice is to look for something with a free trial or that offers a refund.

A little trial and error about 4 years ago led me to Private Internet Access and I've been there ever since. Clients for MacOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android, so you're covered on all fronts. And they don't keep logs, which was proven in a court case last year when they were called up in a trial but couldn't produce anything (you know, because they had nothing to produce!).

Wishing you all good luck from Switzerland (sort of). In an hour I might be checking in from Romania.
