I suspect that it is somehow related to what we are calling "The worst economic cycle since The Great Depression". Somehow, I think that less money flowing is affecting this business as much as any other.

*evil grin*

Actually, writing this has made me sad because I realize how much less money I have to spend on this hobby. I still have the exact same amount of desire, just less money. That sucks. LoL.

What, The Provider Board?  In that case, all of us hobbyists would not have had the privilege of being exposed to Ginger's intuitive reply.  She is great!  Ginger, please continue your wit and wisdom.  As always, your comments are refreshing.

Specials allow the lady to advertise a market driven rate without
lowering her price.  Chick logic!  lol

I have noticed a large spike of "specials" being ran by ladies and with no disrespect to any of the beautiful ladies I was wondering what were the main reasons for running specials??
Is it business is slow?
saving for special prurchase or pay bills?
want more volume of clients?
or heck all of the above?

This is a questions more for the Indy girls... just looking for feedback.

to give a fuck about the all the whys, ifs and behind the scenes shit of the escorting businesses.  Is there anyone who just appreciates the pleasurable simplicity of selecting a gorgeous woman from a website and getting laid by her in exchange for some agreed upon amount amount of money?  It's just fucking pathetic; this need to imbibe one's self in the minutia of selling sex for general shits and giggles.  How many ladies need to respond to your inquiry for you to adequately get off?

Atlanta is a fucked up place to provide.  The supply of providers far outweighs demand.  The demand side is very well organized and shares info about deals and fresh meat.  When the economy tanked, agencies countered by adding more supply to hold the line on income.  That's the worst possible fix for the market equilibrium, but a bigger market share of a smaller market helps that one decision maker.  They are helped until competitors realize the move and react accordingly, creating a death spiral of falling rates until some portion of supply gives up the ghost.  Furthermore, agencies have no vested interest in higher rates since their profit is based on the vigorish.  An agency owner is almost as content to make their month booking 100 appointments as 10, since it isn't their pussy getting pounded 90 extra times.  Downward pressure on rates is less for that portion of supply that separates themselves from the pack.  The top 10 providers here average a rate of $437.50 per hour which is significantly above the market average.  The demand side bitches about their rates and offers up theories of boycotting to bring them in line.  If you look at the top of the heap as it's own market, supply and demand are both limited so the market price for that group is higher because it should be from an economic perspective.  The free market is efficient and always finds its own level over time.

Had I realized you weren't on the buying end of things, I would have instead recommended that you align yourself with a manager or agency since you obviously have no idea what the fuck you're doing.  The number of clueless ladies that call themselves professionals here is overwhelming.  Between the complaining about reviews, the whining about not getting appointments, not showing up for appointments, and requests for advice on how to run a business, you amateurs are really making things difficult for the gent that wants a pleasurable time without all the bullshit.

"than" I'm sure you'll forgive me for taking those numbers with a grain of salt..."do" to both your inability to add, and fly-by-night hookers' tendency to inflate their earnings when confronted with the fact that they're clueless as hell.

Not a knock on Ginger or the OP.  Just trying to be helpful since the question seems to be in regards to what they are motivated by.

Many great ladies have prices for outcall I will not touch.  Some brilliant ladies have studied my hobby habits and understand that I have a consistent but variable access to atl market, a tendency to prefer stable network, a requirement for outcall that is outside their normal hours but at a budget discipline that will not step out of preferred price ranges.

I can think of three that reached out to me and offered targeted incentives.  One I see every third or fourh time in Atlanta, two others I have yet to connect with because scheduling variations.  There is one agency that consistently finds a way to incent my regularity in their off hours and another one that has made good effort to mend a burned down fence and would like to become my first resort again.  These specific groups understand I will spend 5 to 20 roses every trip thru Atlanta, but I want a certain style and time block.

In my case, my ego hopes, it is because they value me specifically as a customer, I am not a total asshole, and they view my needs in the opportunistic fashion, I get a special rate, they get fairly regular off peak cash flow and drain some market demand that could feed competition otherwise.  everybody wins, except maybe the competition.

However, I do not think the Atlanta prices are unstable or moving down.  I recall one lady who had no activity that night and knew no other clients would call, was very interested in me as client, but would not compromise on the outcall surcharge.  I found someone else thirty minutes later. Lots of ladies out their, but enough demand any lady can blow off a possible client without concern, more will call tomorrow
