I'm kind of new to hobby and just wondering what the sentiments are about BBBJ and DATY. I know they're fun, but are they really safe in this day and time ? I agree that a BJ with cover on is like taking a shower with a raincoat on. I wonder how many clients a well respected provider sees. I guess that would have a lot to do with it. Can you get herpes ( or worse ) by daty to a lady with genital herpes.
Yes u can get herpes especially if the person is carrying the virus.........What alot of people don't realize is that the person who has the virus does not need to have an outbreak for their partner to contract it............As for me I see 1-2 clients a day if even that.......I don't want the revolving door,I enjoy spending quality time.......Just be real careful who u see and do your research........I would hope that someone would not allow u to DATY or a BBBJ if they do have the virus.........Just my .02
Well this is my 2cents worth. That is not true! I have asked my doctor and you can not get the virus if there is no outbreak!! You should not post things sweetie, that you don't know about to hurt someone. We are all suppose to be friends in this biz and all the slander and things people do to hurt the other providers are so awful!!I just have to say what is on my mind .If you would like my doctors name to verify? Just ask and I will send to you.I hope I have not hurt you in any way, but just wanted you to know when you are wrong about this one thing!! Be sweet and have a great day!!!
DUHHH...But who knows who has it? Do you think a provider is going to tell her clients she has herpes? Do you think a hobbiest will? If you think yes I have some oceanfront property in Nevada for you!
Not to scare anyone out of the hobby, but here is one answer found with a single Google Search(From www.genitalherpes.com) -
"While you should always use a condom for extra protection, you can still have sex if you have genital herpes. But it is important to avoid sexual contact if you have any sores (oral or genital) or symptoms. Also, even if sores are not present, you could still be contagious because of asymptomatic viral shedding (you don't have any signs or symptoms but the virus is present on the skin). Even when you are asymptomatic, you should use a condom for extra protection. (Please see your doctor for alternative barrier methods if you're allergic to latex.)"
Also: "In addition, physical symptoms do not have to be present to spread genital herpes to another person. Some people are unaware that they have genital herpes because their symptoms are so mild (eg, bump or rash), and they unknowingly spread the virus to others. You can also be contagious and spread the herpes virus, but not have any signs or symptoms at all. This is called asymptomatic viral shedding. It's also important to know that transmission of the herpes virus can occur in heterosexual and homosexual relationships (both men and women)."
Well I hate to say, but being in the medical field myself and having alot of friends that are doctors I was just stating what I have been told....I was not in anyway referring to any particular provider I was just responding to the thread. I dont post anything to try and hurt anyone sorry u took it the wrong way....And I would admit if I was wrong in anything I post but when it comes from a doctor I tend to believe they know what they are talking about.......U also have a great day sweetie.........
