Don't Knows??

Hello fellow hobbyists.  Why s that so many profiles list answers for CIN, anal, etc as "DON'T KNOW?"  Seems to me we all owe it to each other to ask providers whether we want the service or not so we can provide a full and complete profile.

including providers who can use problem reports to update their own profile.
The profile is set by the first reviewer. There is a very good chance the first reviewer really "did not know" as he didn't ask or try to do all those things. For every subsequent reviewer, it does not matter how you fill out the review form, the profile does not change unless you submit a problem report.

I've had reviews rejected in the past for too many "don't knows", so I will usually try to ask. I don't understand why TER won't allow subsequent reviewers to "fill in the blanks"as it were. Instead, whatever the first reviewer says stays. That explains why I've had reviews rejected if I'm the first reviewer. Unfortunately, there is a lack of consistency and I see reviews with a lot of don't knows. I admit it gets annoying.

I've had them change what I entered into the field for a provider where I was the first reviewer. I asked the provider and filled in the info with her response. TER wouldn't accept it because it wasn't in my review as something I did with her. I had asked her because I hate seeing profiles with don't knows and want them filled in as completely and accurately as possible. How better to find out than to ask the lady? There response was, you didn't even do that with her so how could you know. Uh...Ask her?! I pointed out the providers don't have to do it. They just have to offer it (which she clearly did as evidenced by her response to my question) as it states more than once in the review guidelines. Which indicates to me she didn't have to do it with me to prove she offers it.

Thanks for all the insight on my original question.  It's good to know I'm not aloe in my frustration with TER for not solving for the first review being difficult to edit and the edict that "If you didn't do it you don't know."  As one of yo points out, all you have to do is ask, and it helps everyone have better experiences.

TER, are you listening?
