Ok just read a review where a client said it was tacky that the provider asked for the donation as soon as he walked in.   However he earlier stated that he called and asked the provider if she would take less money for a quickie. So tell me who is the real tacky one here??????  I think it is a lot more tacky when a client is trying to negotiate.  Providers set their prices the way they want if you don't have  it move on and find some one in your rate range.

Why do some folks feel the need to always try to tell others how to act?  Why can't folks just behave the way they feel most comfortable with, and just stay the heck out of everyone else's business.  Man, if you don't like chicken, then just don't eat it.  But don't try to tell me not to eat chicken just because you don't like it.

I've seen several ladies recently that have relayed stories of being ripped off - both from assholes that shorted the envelope or used counterfeit money in the transaction.

I really don't see why some guys have such a problem with ladies ensuring that they are compensated up front - including opening the envelope, counting the cash and checking it for counterfeit before any action takes place.  It confounds me the comments ".. she didn't check the envelope..."; "... never mentioned a donation..." etc, etc, as if that was some attribute to be congratulated or rewarded.  That's total bullshit - unless I'm missing something here, why would a guy mind if a lady verifies her compensation unless he has something to hide or is trying to pull a fast one?  

I, for one, would encourage all ladies to count their cash, check for counterfeit, etc before embarking on the rest of the transaction and it would become the norm.

I agree.  I never have a problem with a provider counting the money. It makes smart business sense if you ask me.

If a girl never mentions the money, gives me a great session and I simply leave it on the dresser on the way out, the chances of me leaving MORE than agreed goes up immensely. I am not saying that I don't sometimes leave a tip after a session, even if she has already collected the fee and counted it. but I almost always leave something extra if I pay at the end of the session and I am leaving with a smile on my face.

I can understand why any woman who has ever been shorted or ripped off would want to make sure she gets paid in advance, but those who treat me special, get treated special in return.

I mean I see a lot of posts about not giving deposits or sending money ahead of time to providers, because of trust issues.
But how can we expect the providers to completely trust us to not short them at the same time?  If they count or verify the money, it wouldn't affect my rating of the service they provided.
It would be better courtesy if they do it outside of my view, like those that instruct to leave the donation in the bathroom or in a front room and can check it at their discretion while I freshen up.

I rarely pay anthing up front because I have had a couple occasions where a girl demanded up front payment and just something in the way she said it that set off red flags on many levels.  Maybe she's hooked up with LE and once I pay... bang.... or maybe she already knows she doesn't intend to deliver service and wants to insure she gets my money before pulling her shit.  So on those two occasions I just walked away.  And wasn't long after that when I saw rip off alerts on TER.  So, being cautious and trusting instincts saved me some wasted money.

Those who are on the up and up generally don't concern themselves with it up front because they already have done reasonable screening, know who I am and something about my reputation, and aren't concerned.  And, they know they intend to deliver services and thus not give me a reason to withhold my end of the deal.  Those who demand up front are typically just not likely to find me very willing to cooperate.  But alas, there are exceptions just depends on the vibes.

ever being in a room with a provider that I had any concerns about as far as the donation was concerned. I always try to lay it in plain site up front, and then excuse myself to the restroom to wash my hands.
If she wants to check it while I'm out of the room she can do so unobtrusively. Either way, no harm and no foul. Win-win.

If you claim you are an adult and can’t do or act without approval from a bunch of mongers, you should seek professional help.

Let us also assume, if you don’t behave properly, you will find out soon enough which will allow you to figure out what is improper behavior.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm on a budget and I shop deals. I don't think that asking a provider if she's running specials or has a short session rate is rude, unless you ask rudely. Maybe it should be a compliment such as "I'm on limited funds and I'd love to meet you...". Obvious exceptions are ads that say "not negotiable" which also isn't rude. It's in HOW you ask for almost anything. "ever try Greek? Enjoy it? As opposed to "now can I jam this up your tailpipe?" (which may be fun depending on the girl I suppose) but asking isn't rude...being rude is rude.

I don't agree fully with the "those who are on the up and up don't generally concern themselves with it up front."  It doesn't matter how much screening is done, if a man still wants to rip a woman off he can and even though a woman has little recourse, especially if its done by a vocal poster reviewer on the board. If she blacklist him than he starts bs on the board which ruins her reputation because lets face it, many mongers are going to believe other mongers.

Its a business and I feel that if a woman ask for the donation upfront, it does subconciously set a tone that it is a business. The session itself can still be outstanding, sometimes even better because you have established a level of trust for her, and not leave it in the air that she may work her ass off and not get ripped off. If a monger has done his homework than he already knows upfront that he is not going to get ripped off. It seems to me that those who leave it up in the air by not paying upfront set a tone of control. You know, similar to the "be a good little girl and you will get..."

After cumming the last thing on my mind is the money part and having to deal with it then takes away some of the europhia of the experience.  Just my .02

I think it works best if both parties help to create an environment of trust but verify.  The hobbiest verifies through all the reviews and trusts he will get the service he expects.  he leaves the donation somewhere and allows the provider to verify discreetly, for e.g by excusing himself to the bathroom.
The provider verifies through her screening he's a safe and legit hobbiest and verifies the donation discreetly so she can provide her best service without any fear of ripoff.  Everyone is happy.
