1-- casual ( polo shirt, shorts)
2-- business casual ( collared shirt, slacks)
3-- ready to go (boxers, hotel robe)
4-- no time wasted ( hotel towel)

I think the length of the date would have allot to do with what you should wear when greeting a lady for the first time.

If you are going out to dinner, then dinner ready #2 would be the right start, even if you end up
having dessert before dinner.

If you are meeting for a couple of hours, then #1 casual works well.

If your meeting is for an hour, then just be ready to go #3 /maybe boxers & t-shirt,
you won't have time for all of her clothes and yours

#4 is a little much for a first time date
