It seems this problem was mentioned before, but i don't think there was any proper advice given from those who might know such things:

If one has a certain problem with, ahem, ball-fro, what is the best strategy for its removal?  I don't think shaving such a wrinkly part of the anatomy will be very effective, and i am a little hesitant to use chemicals on the family jewels.

remember ladies - i'm only thinking of your pleasure!

using an alias for obvious reasons

thanks - hairy

Start off with a trimmer. Very easy, and you can use multiple settings. Looks quite good too!! Want it shorter? Move on to an electric shaver? Not close enough? Go to a salon!!

Shaving balls is really easy and once you get in the practice, the easier it is.  I do it in the shower with a double edge.  My biggest problem is that I need glasses to see so I have to touch up when I get out.  I've been doing it for years and have never cut myself.  The difference between oral with and without hair is amazing and worth the less than five minutes it takes.

My position is, if I want a tongue there, I don't want hair interfering with the feeling.

that has a couple of different combs you can use.  When I first started doing this a few months ago (at the advice of a very experienced provider who basically said 'If you like BJs, clear the way, the ladies will be much more enthusiastic'), I first used the longest comb. then switched to a shorter one, and got rid of about 95% of the foliage; if I wanted to get down to slippery smooth. I could use the trimmer with no comb but still a little concerned with a painful snag, and what I've done seems to make the ladies happy  One provider who I see regularly (read my reviews & guess who) was very favorably inpressed ('A clear playground is a nice turn-on') & showed her appreciation with a bit more attention to her oral ministrations (although she had always been so great it was hard (no pun intended) to tell the difference).  It requires a bit of maintenance about once a week, but since that's about how often I trim my beard, it's easy to remember when to do it.  As always, YMMV.

Otherwise, when it starts growing back, the short, firm hairs will start pricking the ladies. Then, every time a girl gets on cg, it'll feel like she's getting constantly poked w/the boot spurs, and I don't think she'd appreciate that.

Thank you all for your sage advice.  I noticed no one mentioned hair removal creams.

Don't be afraid of the razor lol.  First time use a beard trimmer to clear away the brush.  Then a razor.  As Ziggy says the shower is best.  When using the razor use shaving cream but I suggest the kind women use on their legs it is thicker and richer in lather and seems to lubricate better.  Christ I sound like a fashion mag.
