A couple of years back someone gave a pretty optimistic report here on the status of the affairs as it relates to our little corner of the world. The report would definitely not be as optimistic for the future give the recent events the last couple of years. Even though I was never a major player I do miss reading the reviews and insight of some of the real players like Majicwand and even the back page highlights from Johnny Mapalo. I doubt I will venture back into the scene again, but IMO the scene has taken a major downturn and it will take time before it recovers, kind of like economic recessions. Just my thoughts because it is not as entertaining as it once was, but I hope going forward that everyone stays safe.
seems to be somewhat at odds with current opinion, maybe because I’ve never done the agency thing and have always hobbied among independents. Or, maybe because of how I vet providers. I’m not sure the reason. But in my case I’ve not had trouble finding the kind of companionship I look for in this area.
I think its a shame the way things have changed here on TER. Rules, posting adds, ratings/reviews, and in general easibility of use. Seems all these things combined, really turned a lot of users off. I used to be reviewed a good bit. But now i dont even want to be talked about or reviewed because of the paper trail it leaves. Seems the gents cant even give the score they wish to anyways.
The restrictions on ratings often limit my ability to adequately review an outstanding provider. If a lady does not provide some specific services the rating is limited. It also leads to misinformation being added to allow for the increase in scoring.
I, for one, think ratings should be based on the quality of the overall experience rather than if the working girl provides services that are not of interest to me. I understand that those services may be desired by others, but that is easily covered in the 'details' section. The fact that a sultana doesn't do anal does not preclude her from being a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
I have had some out-of-this world experiences that I could not rate as high as the lady deserved, and that's just not fair to the lady...
Should be the encounter is not the reviews. I love to see our region interacting but... I’d love to see us actuallly interacting!
It’s a dead zone out here in Atlanta a lot of ladies are leaving and a lot of them are settling down.

It seems like the pricing structure in Atlanta has changed over the last year. There used to be an assortment of independents at the $300 and $350 price points, but many of those ladies have increased their rate to $400-$500. I think all the old agencies that used to operate at $250-$300 helped to set the market.
Also, the agencies were a natural entry point for a lot of girls in their early to mid 20's just starting out in the business. I'm not seeing as many new girls now. I guess maybe they're going the sugar dating route instead.
Yep, times sure have changed. I used to login to TER about twice a day to check the Atlanta board, read new reviews, etc. Now, I probably login once a week and let my VIP expire well over a year ago.
For someone like me that just joined the community in 2014 and participated very frequently throughout 2015 and most of 2016, it is very different these past 11 months. I hope anyone that got caught up in that mess is doing well. I keep hoping things will go back to like they were and maybe they will after some more time.
Anyway, I hope all of you that do still contribute and read this board had a great Christmas and close out 2017 with a bang.

Honestly, he/she has a point....whether or not one chooses to participate in the hobby based on the events of a year ago are solely ones personal choice. Making a post about it, over and over and over does get a little redundant and stale. Making a post about the current state of affairs in town based on ones opinion of said state is kinda pointless.

I too noticed the down turn in the state of affairs of Atlanta and I thought it might have something to do with election year and people get antsy over changes until they feel secure in the market again. (I have no control over this)
Also I noticed that TER has restructured with guidelines and rules to posting. I am not sure their reason, but I am sure it was a business decision made for a reason. (I have no control over this)
Also I learned of some trouble that happened before my return that scared the shit out of the reviewers and reviewees. This trust will be regained with time as we all do our part and warn our people, if need be.
The ones that want to see this board not die will contribute to conversations. We are all alias here and I feel it's low risk. So I will continue to share fantasies that come to my mind. I was visiting and staying with a guy friend in the hospital that had emergency appendix surgery. He had been rolled in a wheelchair by a laughing and smirking nurse to a recovery room after they finally got his pain controlled in post OP. He was fucked up as fuck. He looked almost yellow. Apparently all the morphine and Demerol they max him out on didn't work to stop him from screaming until they gave him something called Dilaudid.
All this pain medication in him caused him to not be able to urinate. And you have to urinate before they will give you, your get up and get out of here papers. The nurse was threatening a catheter because his bladder was so full. But first she wanted to try helping him by sticking his dick in a cup of warm water. The dudes preacher walks in and see's this big nurse standing behind him with his dick in a cup of warm water. He says "hey, I will come back at a better time" LOL
It's the time of year where many of us reflect on the year's events and look forward to the future. I support everyone's perspective on this topic. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Badboy's post and reflection. This is something that has affected many in the community, either directly or indirectly. However, the other posters are correct in the need to move forward and create the new future we want.
The community has changed quite a bit for all the reason referenced and more. Many have gone underground and/or back channel and some have left the community all together. I have long time lady friends that I've known since their entry into the hobby that won't respond or reply anymore. As well as great guy friends that have gone underground. I'm not in town as much anymore but still have a base here. I do miss the various gatherings and banter on the boards, as well as the wealth of information that was shared and gained. It now feels like everything is censored.
I wish everyone good health and good fortune as we embark upon 2018. I miss the good ole days, but look forward to creating some good fun days and new memories in 2018.

I don't want to minimize the events of this time last year, but this is far from the first event like this. Until society comes to grips with the human spirit these kind of events will happen from time to time. We should carry on folks. Lots of great women and men out there who want to explore the human side of humanity. I'm one of them. I'm not alone.
