Recently I asked a providers permission for a reference. This would not have been a problem, but I could not provide her the # that I used for our contact and she didn’t remember me. It’s a prepaid phone that is activated when needed. Any suggestions to help keep this from happening again, other than the obvious of keeping a log of the numbers? Cannot use the reference, which is understandable. Back to square one.

pay the $35 a month even when not in use just to keep your phone number.  Even if you have it turned off and hid.  You still possibly use her as a reference and give her a detail about your encounter or yourself that would job her memory of who you are; without the phone number.

if I were more frequent in the hobby I would just pay. The reason I didn’t is because it’s not used that often, maybe 1 or 2 times a year. Due to the time frame of this one I was not expecting it...just hoping. Thanks Mad for the reply

You're going to need to be in control of the same number when contacting new ladies as the one you contacted your reference with.
