From "civilian" life. Everyone,,,or in business has the opportunity to buy from your service provider, choose another provider or refrain from buying...

If I lose a proposal, job or a prospect... I move on.... Do I stay in touch? yes.. Things have a way of working themselves out.

I generally don't take things personally...here, in business or civilian....

Cum, Stay, Lay or Pray.... my toes are gonna tap!!!!

So I got referred to provider B by provider A, looking for a little variety.  A little while goes by and I go to provider B's website, fill out her contact form complete with references including provider A of course.  I get a quick e-mail response from provider B saying thanks for contacting me and she will check out my references and get back to me.

A couple of days later I get an e-mail that she clearly meant for someone else saying she has been sick and can't play today.  That e-mail was followed up with a quick second e-mail saying sorry she sent it to the wrong person.  I reply to the e-mail saying sorry you are sick, when you get a chance let me know how my references worked out.

That last was a week ago.  Should I just take the hint and move on to a different provider, or should I assume hey she has been out of it and follow up?

You've made your interest known, I wouldn't push further.

Just my thoughts of course

Send your reference info.. set a deadline when you expect to hear back or you'll have to make other arrangements, and then do just that.

After following his advice I haven't had my time wasted since

I knew what you meant, and thanks for the advice.  I will definitely keep that in mind for the next time.

I do apologize! I'll email you now! ! Hope it's not too late and I hope I'm forgiven!
