Hello!

I will be visiting Atlanta in a week or so (weekend of the 13th) I was looking for any good hotel recommendations, especially with an eye towards balcony rooms and couples spa days/massages.  Also looking for any good ideas on fun things to do in the area.  I'll be doing a fair bit of research on my own, but thought I'd ask some locals

Ashford Dunwoody rd near to i285. There's not much to do here frankly, as Atlanta isn't a great tourist destination. That being said there's Stone Mountain Park, a rich Antebellum history to explore, Coca Cola, the Georgia Aquarium, great museums to see. Buckhead is our poor man's Beverley Hills, lol. We're not much of a foodie destination, but there's a good mix of great restaurants to try if you check Yelp.com. Of course the best part of Atlanta, is that it's the best city in the whole US for the hobbyist. Nowhere else in the whole  country will you find Atlanta's mix of amazing ladies of all kinds. Anything you desire you will find here. And I've searched the whole country trying to find cities to visit to check out the "local culture", only to find that the best of the best is right here. Hope your  visit to our fine city goes well

Both have balconies and spas to my knowledge. You could try Ritz in Buckhead, but not sure they have balconies. They do couples massages for certain.

Yes! Mandarin is awesome!  They have the covered patios too...screened in and roomy with tables and chairs.  

So, there are a ton of things going on that Saturday... What kinds of things are you interested in?

Don't know where the other poster got his info about Atlanta but Atlanta has become one of the top food destinations in the south.  It has several James Beard Award winning and nominated chefs and recent Esquire's Restaurant of the year winners and nominees.  The true 24 hour city portion of Atlanta is Midtown with the museum, symphony and theater.  The best hotels there are Four Seasons and Loews.  DOn't know about patios or spas.  

If you want to know the latest and hot places refer to Eater.com and its Hot Now map or its quarterly updated Hot 38 restaurants and they have a Where to Drink Now map.  This has become my go to source when traveling and to some degree with keeping up with Atlanta's dining.  Don't know what dining style or cuisine or price you like so can't help with restaurants.  You can stay in Midtown and walk to excellent restaurants (Empire State South, Ecco, Lure) or easily get Uber to the hottest place, Krog Street Market.    

Don't know what your interests are besides hobbying (otherwise you wouldn't be posting here!) but you can PM me and i'll answer any questions.  Most any lady will meet at your hotel but you will find the majority of the incall locations for the higher end ladies are in the Perimeter area near Perimeter Mall (google it to see where it is relative to Midtown)  You should know Atlanta is a car town so unless you're using Uber (don't use taxies) or have a car and staying in Midtown, you should have the lady come to you.  

Buckhead is nice with nice but fewer edgy and interesting restaurants.  I t is also a stuffier, old money area but has the majority of the higher end hotels - Mandarin, St. Regis and Ritz. if you're into it, Buckhead has almost all of the good shopping but I'd rather be hobbying!

Perimeter is just fucking boring- nothing to do there except hobby!

I'd definitely stay in Midtown because there are so many interesting places to walk/clubs, or Buckhead within a couple miles of Lenox Mall.  You can't go wrong around 11th-14th street (Midtown)-luxury hotels with everything you specifically named including some classy bars and a lot of good walkable restaurants.  If you need a car service, the apps like Uber/Lyft are about 50% cheaper most of the time, and get to you much faster than cabs.

Just had a Fantasy of Taylor and Skyler and me at the Mandarin. Going to take cold shower now!

Generally I'm interested in two kinds of things - really active physical things like biking hiking etc.  and then soem really relaxing things, like massages and theater.  I know that's kind of wide apart, but the day is usually active, the evening more cerebral.

You should run or walk the Beltline, http://beltline.org.  I don't know if you're familiar with the Highline in NY but this is Atlanta's version.  It starts in Midtown on the east side of Piedmont Park and heads south on an old RR line.  It has very casual to high end steakhouse (my Atlanta fav- Rathbun Steak) restaurants on it and within yards of it.  It is one of the HOT things to do in Atlanta right now.

Lol!  That could be fun) You know whats hot is when its raining but warm with a nice breeze (like the weather right now) and you can hear the rain from patio as the doors are open.... while you are in a room way about the city (like the Mandarin) and you have some fun and then enjoy a glass of wine on the patio either naked or in a soft robe Sorry, I might need to take a cold shower now!

YOu should hike stone mountain then...really its prett cool to do, actually there are a ton of things to do at stone mountain... I had no idea either until a couple years ago!
