Hi,
I am a single guy in the hobby.
I can spend the money once a month for a two hour party.
Since I am single, nice looking and know which fork to use I'd like to take a provider to dinner sometime off the clock.
It would be either before or after play time.
That time would be compensated, of course.

I meet only independants.

How does one go about asking a provider about an off the clock pleasant dinner?

Do any of you have any experience in this area.

No, I am not cheap or playing games.
But I can go a two hour fee but not 3 or 4.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks

All u can do is ask the provider if she would be willing and its up to her to say yes or no!!!...I have done this with several clients, gone to dinner or lunch and then back to my place for dessert!!! I enjoy getting to know my clients to establish a comfort level.....Just my 02....

So Terri, when do you want to have dinner? ;)

I agree with Terri all you gotta do is ask. I too have gone out to dinner with some of my clients or breakfast in some cases. It is fun to get to know the gentelmen.  Hugs and Kisses Monette

~Surprising sometimes~....  just ask!! *LOL* I've gone to dinner then enjoyed a couple hours later to enjoy the desert. I think the statement that getting to know a genleman helps to create an enjoyable evening, about says it all. I can usually make the time, as long as classes are not in session. Kisses ~Candace

not knowing if class would be in session has always kept me from asking also.
i spend my weekends riding in the ga/n.c. mountains and i do alot of hiking/waterfalling on the weekends as well.
sure would be nice to have some company doing this,
i know weekends is when you have the busiest classromms to teach.

I really would like to hear from more providers.
However thank you, each and every one.
Deanna touched on a big one.
I WILL NOT go to a nice resturant alone.
It is about the lonliest thing a guy can do.
But to have a charming, beautiful lady on my arm.
I am a romantic at heart.
Nice conversation, light flirting, holding hands.

I love to be the envy of every guy there.
Love to have my lady dress with class and a touch of seductive.
No over exposure, always in good taste.

You are all so wonderful to respond.
THANK YOU lovers.

New question for you.
What, in your opinion, is the very best romantic resturant here in  Metro Atlanta?
Where is your favorite?

I have also done this before, as it allows time to establish a nice rapport w/each other, and there are no expectations about how long we will be behind closed doors.

But, the time I spend getting ready for a dinner date; I do like to enjoy dinner beforehand to fully enjoy being with my companion, and he with myself...

As most of my previous dinner date gents know, I love to eat excellent food; and there is nothing more depressing than going to a wonderful restaurant all alone...

My favorite picks for romantic restaurants...I have several:

Recently, did not eat there, but enjoyed a nice chat and champagne:

Alpharetta:
I don't travel there much, but 1 restaurant stays high in place:
Van Gogh-Unbelievable decor/artwork, excellent food.

Vinings:
Pano's and Pauls-I hear the food is excellent as well..
Blue Ridge Grill-Excellent Seafood

Buckhead:
Pricci-Go on any nite besides Saturday, unless you like loud chatter-Italian

Emeril's-Great atmosphere, food, excellent service-Make reservations, get their business card if your servers were great-they WILL remember you-no matter who you are with-Creole/Cajun-Lamb is excellent.

Fogo de Chao-Probably 1 of my favorites, but I can only go when very hungry, and it's more fun when you have another couple with you...excellent food, atmosphere breaks the ice, and please PLEASE try the Caipirinha(sp?)  A native drink that will knock your socks off....You only need one!!!

Eclipse Di Luna-Nice little place that has excellent food/tapas, and they have Latin nights, which are very good, but it gets packed witht bourgeois(sp?) crowd-can get on your nerves-every other night is great...

Bluepointe Grill-Wonderful on Fridays for Martini night-excellent food-Asian Fusion

Dantanna's-Dim, very nice, excellent seafood

Midtown:
Spice-One of my favorites, excellent atmosphere, wonderful menu-food

MF Sushi Bar-Excellent sushi, wonderful presentation, coffee place right next door

I'm sure there are more, but these will get you started...To find any numbers, locations for all of these and more in your area, go get a Creative Loafing, or a Cover Magazine at Tower Records...They will have everything you need...

Good luck, and I am always available to accompany anyone as a guide, lol!

I always think the more you get to know a guy the better times (get that times).. you have together.. As far as romantic places.. i dont think it gets any better than the sundial.. downtown.. and yes in the le lovers westin.. but reguardless of where you go .. it is up to the lovers to make the moment meaningful and a night to remember. some of my best dinner dates here while not on tour consisted of me cooking and the friend coming over .. now you cant get any cozier than that, and hey im almost as good at cooking as I am at DTBBBJTCNQNS(lol).. Hope you have fun on your visit .. and find you some good food.. hugs and kisses .. deanna

~ I guess any resturant is great with the right company~ however, a few of my favorites include:

In Mid-town: Veni Veda Vici- On 14th.. a great chef as well as nice atmosphere. BUT... I have experienced other resturants in Atlanta that offer a better "suggestion" of romance...  but it is close and down town.

Further North is: Checkers @ Perimeter..  which I adore, great intimate tables are all around the edges of this resturant.

A Jazz Resturant in Buckhead- Sambuca.. which has a lovely small table out of the way with an over sized white linen table cloth... **OK is it just me or does that have "Naughty" written all over it **

Hals is a wonderful small out of the way resturant that makes a great Chillian Sea Bass... (*melts in your mouth*) they also have a wonderful baby grand that just sets the beginning of the dinner off to a great start. Again, low lighting and quiet tables make this a nice place to start a delicious evening!

And lastly.. Canoe. This is a wonderful resturant that has great food and after dinner you can walk down by the water and find that bench to relax on... If that isn't a great way to start an evening what is????

Desert is another story all together!!!

~Whatever the choice of the resturant I am sure the right company can turn any place into the romantic memory you are looking for~
kisses  Candace

Candace,

Where is Canoe located?  That really sounds like my kinda place!!!  Nothing better than a great meal and some wine, then a light walk and fun sexxy conversation by the water....

No doubt, Checquers at Perimeter is one of my favorite restaurants in town.  Great service and ambiance, and the homemade biscuits and crab cakes are to die for.

Perhaps the fine red-haired lady space vampire would like to partake together sometime in the near future?  Could be fun, dah-link...  :o)

Candace,

Please call or email me when you get back in town.  I'm buried until Aug 16, and Aug 17 is likely the next TER board meeting (hope you can make it!).

But any time after that, I'm good to go whenever you're in town and available.  Actually, if you're in town Saturday night 14-Aug, that might work too.

Of course, we can always play the dessert thang by ear...

Some of my favorites are:

The Food Studio (King Plow Arts Center) -- Great food, excellent wine list, location is just plain cool, and for dessert they have cheesecake on a stick...

Cafe Lily (Decatur) -- Small place, intimate, not too expensive

The Supper Club (Also Decatur) -- Excellent(!) wine list, awesome food, IMO the absolute best "romatic" atmosphere / decor for a restaurant in Atlanta.

Bacchanalia (Howell Mill) -- Good wine list (do we see a theme here), excellent food.  Sneaky trick:  I remember there being an attached store/bakery type place.  If you dine at the restaurant near closing time you will wind up with bags full of the goodies they couldn't sell that day.

The Imperial Fez (Buckheadish) -- Sitting on the floor, five course meal, Moroccan comfy interior, dancing girls.  What's not to like?

Dante's Down the Hatch (Buckhead) -- Should try at least once, it's kind of over-rated though.  Get a table "on the ship" and spend the $5 cover for live jazz.

The Grape (Vinings) -- Wine bar / restaurant.  Not necessarily the place for a full meal, think of it as a Cafe Intermezzo with wine.

It's not "romantic" but: Ru San's on Piedmont.  Order a round of Saki Bombs for the table, make sure you have extra napkins.

Citysearch is usually a decent source for restaurants (believe me, I've gone through a lot of them), you just have to read a few dozen reviews to find a good one.

I love going to a nice romantic dinner and then being dessert!!!!  Let's have some fun!
XOXO,
Kris

If a guy asks me to do dinner 'off the clock' and says he'll pay me for the session at the hotel, I assume he's LE. That's clearly solicitation for sex and I won't reply back to those requests. I occasionally go out to dinner with regulars at 'no charge'.
