Ladies who are successful in this business are courteous , know how to communicate , and conduct themselves in a PROFESSIONAL manner.

Just my 2 cents

Having reviewed my way into the top 10 reviewers, I have learned a few things, so on a slow Sunday I decided to share a few observations:

1)  While I have probably spent too damned much money in this hobby, I don't find myself regretting it, I probably would have just wasted it on savings and bills anyway.

2)  Any "Insightful media expose" I have seen on this hobby is by and large completely full of shit.  They take the view and angle of the worst of the worst because it sells.  In reality the side of this hobby I have seen is nothing like they "expose".

3)  Women who get into this business out of desperation or with the attitude of "Sure someone can bang me as long as they pay me enough.", don't last.

4)  In a surprising number of cases I don't even consider it a business transaction.  I would describe it more like a friends getting together...where we both benefit in a tangible way.  At least those with whom I repeat.

5)  The women in this hobby are denigrated and looked down on, perhaps even pitied in the media and by those whom they have never met and nothing could be farther from the truth.  The women who LAST in this business are remarkable women, strong in their confidence, resolute in their decisions and secure in their sexuality.  They are to be admired.

6)  The women who LAST in this business are just damned fun to be around.  They enjoy people and people enjoy them.

7)  This is a wonderful place to explore your own sexuality, be it kink or any persuasion, there is probably a woman out there who not only will attempt it with no attitude or judgment, but probably ENJOY it as well.

8)  While it is said you "Can't judge a book by it's cover." I find that saying to be bullshit.  With some experience and insightful analysis I am getting pretty good at sniffing out fake ads AND fake reviews.  The result being I am disappointed much less frequently.

9)  If you are going to be a part of the "Team" of hobbyists, you occasionally need to "TOFTT".  Fair is fair, CONTRIBUTE.

10)  If, and this is only my opinion, a reviewer reaches 100+ PUBLISHED reviews (I don't even want to know how many total visits) They should get something...maybe a free membership for a year or 6 months.  (This one may be somewhat self serving)

11)  YMMV is a caveat in nearly every case, however a lack of chemistry doesn't mean the provider is a bad option.  Chemistry is elusive, if it weren't the world would be chaos.  GRADE FAIRLY based on attitude and honesty.  Sometimes men, WE are the problem.

12)  Be HONEST!  Ladies, in your ad's, Men in our reviews and in telling our providers what we are looking for.  And for the love of life...please don't renegotiate fees after arrival.  It sucks for both sides of the transaction.  If you agree on the gift, deliver.

So those are some highlights.  Feel free to fold, spindle or mutilate to your hearts content.

While I totally agree. I think TER has created a spot to make this ( unlawful and immoral) profession to an acceptable level that has helped  recognize and legitimize (at least in my mind) what we do and the girls we do it with. I feel Ter deserves alot of credit for making this into respected hobby with professional providers. Just my opinion.

1 and 2 totally agree
3. I would add the women who develop the hard edge and entitlement attitude to this category
4 and 6) This is so extremely true.  Yes it's pay for play,  friendliness and niceness does not equal sucker and sap either.  But the ladies that can at least create the illusion of fun do best
5 agree
7 damn straight, main reason to hobby
8 and 9 very true
10 ain't ever going to happen, but if you ave 100 reviews you likely have two years in the bank so it works out.  I like how some ladies target ads to us
11. Very true, bad service is one thing.  But if lady tries to deliver good session but chemistry lacks, be fair
12. Absolutely true

Good post

Yep, now that you mention I may adjust it to read

#1.  We do this for fun and excitement.  If it isn't fun or exciting...try skydiving, run the bulls of paloma.  Try anything, but move on.

Thanks for the additional observations and to all those who agree with me....well damn you are smart!  LOL

reliable source/reviewer unlike somebody else on this thread.

You should consider posting it on the new guy board too.

Thanks LSLarry !

Since you invited commentary and it's a slow Monday, I decided to share a few observations of your observations:

1. What's so "wasteful" about paying off bills or investing for the future?

2. Just because you choose to remain ignorant of the dark side of this business does not mean that it doesn't exist.

3. Every woman who gets into this business finds that she has changed in some way, most not for the better.

4. It is a business transaction, even if you choose not to view it as such. Failure to do so leads to misguided attempts at finding love in all the wrong places.

5. There is nothing to be admired about those who provide and those who use those services (myself included). If it were, then we would not be keeping it such a big secret from friends, family, co-workers, etc. and advertising pics of working girls would not need to be blurred.

6. The women who last in this business know how to provide a good VALUE for their services.

7. Yes.

8. Yes.

9. No, I will never TOFTT. I am not THAT desperate to pay for sex.

10. No, you should not get anything for reaching that milestone of reviews. Yes, your request is wholly self-serving. If you are so hard up on a freebie, then seek one out from your ATFs.

11. Yes.

12. Yes.

There. That wasn't so bad, was it?

And balance out alot of douchebuggery.  Go figure.  But why did you intentionally misspell words for a solid month?  To piss off the old mods?

You make some cogent points:  First and far and away foremost.  This was a list of "MY OBSERVATIONS".  At no point do I claim infallibility abject accuracy or even that I agree with them all as absolute.

Proffering a negative isn't all that insightful, especially since I never claim otherwise.  In fact, I am absolutely SURE that the negative side of this business exists.  I believe statistically that it probably is a larger percentage than the side I know.  But as I state...this is the side I HAVE EXPERIENCED.  I opt out of the negatives as best I can.  I have met some and I too wish they were in a different situation.  But you should note, I do not see those providers AGAIN.  So, relegated to the part I participate in, I hold to my observations.  As for a few of your specifics...

#1 was a JOKE, lighten up.  I pay my bills and save.
I never doubt it is a business transaction and I believe those who know me will back me up on that.  Perhaps I should have said "I feel more like they are friends..." would that be more pleasing to the hypercritical? (#4)
The fact that you would "Never take on for the team" says much more about you than it does about me, or those agreeing with the team aspect.  I would love an explanation of how one position offers a better definition of "Desperate".  I prefer the occasional test drive because it stimulates my sense of adventure and desire for "new".  Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.  Personally, I just like being in the game.

Yep, it was a self-serving request.  I guess I should have said that in the original missive...oh wait, I did...

Maybe I should add another line item.
There will always be critics and those who feel a need to post the opposition.  I'm curious what that brings to the table, but it sure makes for interesting reading.

I am neither incensed nor hurt.  I am not posting back out of spite or anger.  But hey, we want to debate, I'm game.  For the record I can take either side of the argument with equal vigor, I loves me a good debate.  (Yes, I know that is grammatically incorrect)

Mostly and as I said in the beginning, these are my observations.  I have met a lot of good women and great people in this little hobby of ours.  I have benefitted in a lot of ways, both physically (OH MAN have I benefitted) and emotionally.  To be clear to the literal ones and naysayers "THERE IS A DOWN SIDE".  Please feel free if not responsible to do the research.  There are countless articles, broadcasts and even movies which explore them with a energy and level of research I do not care to reach.

Those with a less critical eye and noting that this is one mans OPINION... I wrote this from the upside, since in my little world it is the side I tend to focus on.

Have fun, be safe.  LSLarry OUT.

There's nothing wrong with basing your opinion from an optimistic perspective. I choose to base mine from a one of pragmatism and it is the side I tend to focus on. While I have only experienced great things in this field, it has not blinded me to the fact that there is a lot of bad and ugly aspects to this business.

Have fun, be safe.  LSLarry OUT.

he thinks he is impressing someone and he likes to hear himself talk.

Hey...don't know the guy and doubt he's an idiot.  Little negative for me but he is what he is.  Who's to say he isn't being purposefully provocative?  It's no big deal. This is a forum for opinion, he has his and I have mine.  I am fine with that status.

I wasn't kidding. I took nothing personal, likewise I give the poster little credibility, he probably thinks likewise with me.  That said, I'm comfortable with who I am and who my friends in this hobby are. It's loaded with great things and great people. It's also loaded with bad things...maybe my post will help someone enjoy more of the former and avoid the latter...then it's a big winner.  If not I'm humbled by some of the responses I've gotten both on the board and va PM.   Larry's happy!

Peace and love peace and love!

I couldnt agree more especially with this arousing and positive attitude you have!
Definitely peace and love peace and love!
