We live in the age of the Selfie. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, just look at them. All of them are almost always pics made via camera phones: grainy, out of focus, in a mirror. etc.  Where you might glimpse a personality, I often see just bad photography.

I like professional, but yes, Photoshop... so ugh.

Me? I also like the semi-pro snapshots. Someone took my pic while I was messing around, so it shows me playing, doing silly pose, etc. but the pic itself is better quality. Zoom and crop, remove the red-eye, and viola! Candid pic of Kosh being an idiot!

So I do qualify my preference toward candid but please limit the selfies. Ladies! Ask me to take your pic, ask any of the other old TER farts, Chances are I'll (we'll) be happy to take your pic on your phone, point and shoot, or DSLR.  

BTW, it doesn't have to be porn nor suggestive but I also have no issues with a "Freshly F'd" candid, especially if I'm the one who got ya that way.

I like to see the professional shots sometimes because you'll see the girl in really nice lingerie and in a number of more provacative poses.  Selfies definitely show personality since they aren't usually being coached to emote by a photographer.  In most cases the girls do look better in person than their staged shots.  

A mix of professional and candids are always the best.

CANDID PIC BEWARE....technology is catching up:
Just remember now on candids fellas -- those selfies can be enhanced very easily with any one of dozens of very capable apps.  I've seen apps that can turn weathered skin completely flawless with only a few flicks of a finger and the pic will still has a very candid feel to it

Best Scenario
A mix of professional and candids -- seeing updated candids every 2-4 weeks is nice too for someone you've been on the fence about.  Sometimes that new pic is the clincher.

To me both have pros and cons .. so a mix is best.  But what I like most is shots that show the face.  I understand the privacy issues, but usually that's the thing that most disappoints me when I see a provider.

Real pics, what ever that may be.  Getting fair to decent photos isnt that hard, but having over edited pics isnt going to make for anything but disapointment.  I like older providers, and dont have to have perfect trim bodies.  

Seeing the face isnt that important in my opinion, but photos that are not the provider just sucks
