If I say, think of “passive-aggressive generally unsatisfied close-minded people with victim mentality and consistent fear of rejection by their sexual partners,” who might have come to your mind? No need to call specific names, it could be a general group, or a character.

If we can't name names....lol.
There's at least a dozen of them on this board alone (and not one of them is female...lol).

Can't help but wonder if someone used this phrase to characterize working girls...but if they did....they don't know much outside of a book.

Just sayin'

I did not mean the working girls. I found non-working women complaining about their sex-life much more often, making their only partners-husbands fully responsible for their happiness; but I do appreciate your answer!

And the ones complaining are often the ones that use sex as a Pavlovian reward/punishment mechanism.  Haven't heard the phrase in a long time, but back in the army they called that "pussy-whipped."  Slow motion emasculation.  Produces the sort of personality you ask about - sort of a Woodie Allen.  Have watched it happen to guys close to me, and it's ugly.
