If you haven't figured it out already...if you post your ad in classic mode, your ad gets bumped whenever someone posts something to it. This is a flaw in the new system that I feel a certain provider had figured out and has taken full advantage of. This is very apparent since her ad is almost always at the top of the board. I have also received many PM's from providers who are pissed off becuase of this. Well, instead of keeping this bug in secret and let others exploit it, I am just going to let everyone know that this is not acceptable behavior. Any provider caught exploiting this bug, intentionally or not, will find themselves under permanent moderation. No questions asked. This had gone on long enough and frankly, I am sick and tired of answering PMs regarding this matter. Additionally, I don't want Whore Wars III either, so this is what we're going to do until this gets fixed.
From now on, all providers posting in the Atlanta board is required to use the new site design and make sure to check the ad box when posting their weekly ads. Anyone caught trying to get around this will be permanently moderated and their ad pulled. They will not have the chance to post another ad for the week so they will have to wait for me to approve their ad the following week...when I have time.
I havent figure "it" out as I never go near the new site.. So I hope I dont inadvertantly do something like that! I dunno what "it" is.. Do you mean they reply to their posts so it stays on top?
Darklove, I sent you a more detailed PM about this issue. But in case any others are wondering, is it against the rules for a provider to post additional pictures to her ad post? Posting additional pictures, and having people comment on them, keeps the ad bumped to the top.
The "rules" for ad posting is in the TER Guidelines, correct?
I just wanted to say that I have no issues, actually, I appreciate being able to post here. For one, it's FREE! Two, providers actually get free advertising here everyday...if they choose to post in the picture threads. Three, providers actually get free advertising each and every time they post ("see my TER reviews"). So I really don't see what everyone is getting so bent out of shape about. No worries Man! Be happy!
