A new spin on a old game....

At a party this past summer, guests were asked to talk about "the song" -- you know, the one that you hoped came on the radio when in the back seat of your car with your high school girl....the one that would set the mood just right for adolescent sexcapades.  Given my age (or my taste in music) there were several mentions of Meatloaf, Journey (only with Steve Perry), The Commodores, and any number of rock ballads from the 70's and 80's.  It was quite the trip hearing others at the party relay their favorite make-out tunes, some of which made me want to re-live those "glory days".

Since I've had enough of the Ho-Ho-Ho references on the board this week, thought I'd try this....

Ladies:  If there was one song, a Christmas/holiday song, that you'd like to get "busy" to, what would it be.....and, of course, why?

Gents:  We'll review responses and organize a little outing -- this will bring a whole new meaning to the holiday tradition of caroling.

Amos Lee's version of John Prine's song Christmas in Prison makes me wanna do it---with Amos. . . lol When I first heard Amos sing this, I sat a lil confused as to why I kept listening. Then it hit me. It doesn't really matter what he sings about. lol  I can hear his voice and instantly get heated. :-) This time it just happens to be a song about Christmas. lmbo

So, excuse my ignorance, but I am not sure of the exact title of the song. But I would say that outside of the implication of "nuts on my fire"...lol...the song is very smooth and melodious, it just kinda oozes with sensuality from the lips of the singer. And then the end where it has those last little...ding ding ding...ding ding ding....ding ding ding ding ding.....its not actually a ding, but if you listen to it, you know those last little sounds as it goes off...the sound makes me think of an exotic and steamy session with a smooth finish....All that from one lil Christmas song, eh...lol

...listening to it on Pandora as I read this. The best version is IMO by Nat King Cole.

yes..i like the Nat King Cole version mysel
