First a shalt out to the TER site for being such a great resource!!!

I am still fairly new to the hobby but was wondering about a couple of things I have run across in my short time here.

Questions for Providers:  

1. Why do so few providers allow email contact?  
Like many on here I have read reviews from, I am a professional businessman who travels. My only phone is a smart phone provided by my company. There is NO way I am going to call a number from a providers website and risk getting canned. However, I can use a the internet to use a third party email address for communications without being traced back to my phone. This has worked rather well with the few on this site that provide emails. One who I see regularly only uses email which is very nice.

2. Why do so many providers keep you waiting after a pre-arranged time?
Again, like many others I am on a tight schedule, so when I get a chance to squeeze in a little playtime I want to make the most of it. I have in my short amount of time, shortened the time of my visit because of lost time. I have also been stood up at my outcall location (in another city) by a provider who kept saying they were just running late and never showed up. Eventually I gave up and went out to dinner and missed an opportunity.

3. Does your menu of options, based on the person you are meeting, expand on the second visit?  
Being new and afraid to say anything I never know what is available beyond what I have read in reviews. And sometimes I have learned that those are not always accurate. I have mostly noticed this in the massage providers.

Simply my opinion for what it is worth.  
I do not like "fake" moans (real is fine and appreciated) and a provider trying to act like something they have seen in a porno movie. I like to have a bit of class about my meetings.

What are your biggest turn-offs besides bad hygiene and being delayed?

Only use email... I find it provides a little more discretion and as you said, many don't have access to "burner phones"  

As for being made to wait... I try to be as punctual as possible. Your time is as valuable as mine.  Once a time is set, that should be the time of the meeting.

I am sure you understand there is no "cookie cutter" response to your questions like all the providers represented the answers should be as varied as the colors of the rainbow....for what it is worth here are my thoughts,

1 email - is great and does allow for some discretion but to me it really only means that I spend less time talking and more time typing,  
                it does prove valuable with those and there are more than a few that are time wasters. I understand that some do not have a safe
                 phone to use however I do not find that an acceptable excuse for those who spend many $$$$$ annually on their hobby who will
                  not obtain a burner phone with a months service from best buy or dollar store for less than $50.  Lastly with me at some point  
                   you are going to be required to talk with me personally the old fashioned way, I want to hear your voice at least when you  
                   assure me that you are going to keep that appointment you just confirmed, I am just old school I guess.  Funny there are so
                  many who claim they want that personal touch but they want to stay at arms length with email or even text.  And for Some of  
                  Providers out there are you aware that when you email your location ad access details that they are often being saved and used  
                  in lieu of references?

2 delays - never stood anyone up so I don't know what you are experiencing though I have had a few 5 to 10 minute delays but I have  
                  never included it in the time and the vast majority of my visitors go over some anyway, no harm no foul.  Now on the other hand i
                   am often pushed with time chages that advance or delay schedules or there is the frequent NCNS, but this is your thread...

3 menu -  really....with me I will be more than happy to tell, exhibit or engage in what I like when in flagrante delicto I will also tell you what  
                  I am just not feeling that day.  Hence the phrase YMMV, honey it is all always good sometimes somethings are just  
                   better than others, can't say I ever had any that was bad.  

4 faking - never have, never had to and never will, see #3 above........

1. I'm not sure which ladies you're talking about. Most ladies prefer email for first contact. Every reputable agency and lady I know of has a website and email for clients to use. Some also have phone numbers available.

2. Ladies run late sometimes. 5 - 15 minutes late is common. Plan playtimes when you have an extra 30 minutes so you don't have to stress about every minute that passes. This may alleviate your worry about the time.

3. It sounds like you've been a victim of upselling. Seeing well-reviewed, reputable, all-inclusive providers will result in a better experience for you. Do you have a VIP membership so you can read the full text of reviews

I don't do outcalls, so never encountered that.  However, they encounter traffic jams like everyone else.  Had one lady who greeted me at the incall ready, but looking a little flushed.  Turns out she had to change a flat tire on the way there.  Best to not try to schedule with micro precision.

Two thoughts on the menu.  First - a wise provider once told me "we may be providers, but we're girls too!"  In civvie life, have you always explored all avenues on the first date?  The same holds here - a relationship of bonding and trust leads to more openness.  Secondly, even if the lady loves doing XXXXX with a guy she likes, she doesn't want to advertise it so that every macho jerk coming through the door feels entitled to demand it.  So, for the first meeting, go into it expecting what's on the menu and in the reviews and no more.  Build a relationship by being conversational and a gentleman.  Then whatever may happen will happen.  IMHO, that sorta holds for most interactions in life.  Can't be faked - can be learned.

I really like that approach. You really seem to have a good grasp on the situation.
