...,so my Steak & BJ with Pi Day wasn't great, but at least it wasn't too bad of a day either. I also bought an Edwards 2 slice box of GA Pecan Pie. Good stuff last night, especially with the movie I rewatched.

So - as Meat Loaf says "2 out of 3 ain't bad".  
I know. I Know! I go from yesterday quoting the Greats to Meatloaf today - a man who's single best life achievement seems to his death as Eddie in ROCKY HORROR.  

But ya gotta admit - it is a helluva fun film... anyrate... it's E's fault. Which is what prompted my choice of films last night.
He mentioned that I should Carpe Diem et Uberum before time passes me by which reminded me of Riff Raff's lines:

"It's Astounding
Time is Fleeting
Madness.... takes its toll."  (And man, has it ever)

Then I remembered a few lines later:
"(Narrator) It's just a jump to the left.

So I re-watched the DVD last night.  
Sure. "Time Warping" isn't as much fun as a BJ. If only I had had a lady for the pelvic thrust... that drives me insae-ae-ae-ae-ane... Ya see the Inward Spiraling Circle of my version of March Madness? Anyrate, I'm doing better today.

My dear Sir:

Although I do agree that Mr. Loaf's career has been other than exemplary, I submit to you - for your consideration - Exhibit A "Paradise By the Dashboard Light."  I think that you will agree upon further investigation - that this song fucking rocks.  And pretty much sums up the entirety of my misspent youth.  But let's not make this about me.  Please, review all of the evidence and I'm sure you will come to the forgone conclusion that any and all disappointments in Mr. Loaf's varied career are far outweighed by the masterfully executed, brilliantly cheeky, and rollickingly raucous Exhibit A.

And on a personal note: as bad as Rocky Horror is I openly admit to having seen it possibly one hundred times.  If for no other reason than to watch Tim Curry chew up scenery.  That guy is fascinating.  He is so delightfully over the top in every acting role I've seen him in you just can't stop yourself from watching.

On an even further personal note:  my steak and a bj day went very well.  Although I didn't accomplish both objectives, I can say my bj was well done.  Very well done indeed.  ;-

Eating a well done steak gives me as much pleasure as I imagine sex with a sunburned supermodel might be. Sure it be enjoyable, but I'd have that devil on my shoulder whispering to me about how much better it would be if who/what I'm enjoying were a bit less cooked.  

Ribeye- medium at most
Strip or Filets - Pittsburgh rare (if the cook knows that that is) to medium rare at most.

And further FYI, sex with the sunburned supermodel? I'd offer her half her rate just to let me rub Aloe into her formerly subtle flesh so long as I got a verbal promise for a return visit when she was rare to medium rare.. lol

The outlandishness, the scene chewing Tim Curry, and a younger, perkier Susan Sarandon are all four wonderful reasons to have watched RHPS from time to time.

Bat out of Hell was one of those albums we all had to own.  I had it on 8track, vinyl, cassette, and it was one if the first CDs I ever purchased.  If I recall, it's like the 4th or 5th best selling albums ever.

I would say that is tribute enough to the worth of Mr Loaf.

And kudos to Tim Curry who made drag, mainstream
