I wonder what his explanation was going to be if you had counted the money.  He probably had it on him just in case.  Is there any way you can report him to the other providers?  I personally HATE deadbeats.

Sorry this happened, hon. But, yes, there are assholes in this world. When seeing a new provider, I always give them the opportunity to check the envelop. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I am never offended either way.

Listen, ladies; any guy that gets offended when you at the very least check the envelope probably isn't worth doing business with.

It isn't offensive, period. This is a business, and in business a transaction is involved.

I'll second what the provider above said; I'm not offended either way. In fact, I'd expect a lady to look, and keep looking until she got to know me. Trust is always earned. If it is not, what's the value?

First - did you screen the dude?

I assume you did - therefore, there are measures you can take to collect this money that are best not posted here.

Second - you may have escaped more serious harm.  A dude willing to give an empty envelope then carry out a meeting with an escort in full knowledge his caper could be revealed at any time during that hour is borderline psychopathic, in my opinion, and probably capable of violence.

If you are with an agency..  they should be calling that guy back immediately  after an appointment.
i actually had counted the money out one day as i took out extra from my bank account for bills and i was short in the envelope.  I was called out immediately after the appointment. I turned right around and made it right.   Granted I was an established client with the agency with a clean record..  I understand this isnt the same deal.. He did it to get away with it.. the guy has one big set of balls. black list him forsure if he doesnt make it right.

I never have a problem with the girl counting the money in the bathroom or somewhere before or after the session.. but never in front of the guy..  just like you guys that dont like taking money for sex we dont like paying for it either. So i wouldnt like to counted in front of me. Nothing kills a boner fast well maybe when she says your time is almost up. LOL

Some time ago, a friend opened the envelope in front of me. I told her that it wasn't cool to do that. She said, whats the matter, don't you want to see the huge smile on my face when I see whats inside!  After that, I didn't care.

We reap what we sow , so just know he will loose double that. Just stay being sweet & kind that is a Great gift!

Take it as a life lesson (I'm sure you already have!). Trust everyone, but not the devil inside them.

ALWAYS count, even if it's when your client is in the shower (that's when I do it) and don't begin until that transaction is complete. Honestly, if it's LE and he's already in the door, you're going down no matter what does or doesn't happen in that room.
