you broke an agency rule that neither you nor the providers were aware off.

Maybe the rule is in the fine print. I know of one Atlanta agency that has published the "Magna Carta" and expects its clients to read it in its entirety before calling to book an appointment.

IMHO. They have rules and apparently you broke one. You've been a loyal customer for many years and have spent some nice money on them. Apparently that means nothing to them and that's fine. They can run their business as they see fit. I find it interesting that in an economy like this they wouldn't even ask you if you knew the rule or let you explain you didn't know about the rule. Customer no-service. Again, it's their right.

As you said, there are plenty of other options out there and other quality agencies (collective??? WTH???) with beautiful ladies and friendly staff that will be happy to accept your appointments. Move on and don't look back. If you ever hear that they are willing to let you back in as long as you "know the rules" I would politely decline.

Oh, and for the record, you *might* want to consider telling people the agencies name. Not to cause them trouble or anything but there are other guys that like taking pictures. And if they don't know the rule they end up on a banned list also. You haven't said anything rude, insulting or troublesome concerning the agency so giving their name only let's other guys know that that agency is a no-picture type of agency. Just my $.02.

An interesting situation came up today. Called to book with a new girl at an "collective" that i frequently use and was told that i am no longer welcome.

Source of the problem apparently was last time i visited a different girl and asked her if i could take some pics with my phone, she agreed, we had fun, thought nothing of it. No coercion on my part and i gave her a tip. I have not and will not ever share the photos - they are purely for my memories.

I ask only very few girls about this and when i do 9 out of 10 them refuse - which is no big deal

I have taken photos of only one other girl from this group way back last year, and have seen many there before and since that i have not even asked. So was a bit surprised that (1) this was a such problem (2) that no warning was given and (3) jumped straight to a ban.

Lots of other options available out there so i wont fret it, but i wondered if i was way out of line here, a little bit out of line, a complete pig, or what?

I think that my photo days are over, but i would be interesting to get both provider and hobbiest views.

If you ask a lady to take her photo and she agrees that is between you and the lady.  I believe the ban was taking it a bit to far.  

Honestly if it was such a problem for the provider she could have just said no.

If she agreed, I don't understand what the problem was.  Did she tell the agency, you took them without permission? Or did you get caught with the pics?

I don't think you were out of line if she agreed to it.  If you were breakin some type of rule, she should have said something before hand.

This action seems a bit extreme based solely on the info you provided.  Suppose there are many possibilities a few of which might be that the girl actually felt coerced but didn't tell you, agency wanted their cut, other girls at agency felt they would be pressured into doing same, your rep with the agency was already pretty bad and this was just an excuse.... the list goes on... Just move on and forget it... but it does make me wonder how this got revealed to anyone besides you her in the first place.

Her "management" is now saying that she didn't know the rule, that i should have (???), that i am untrustworthy and therefore now ex-communicated.

My statistic might have been wrong - In my entire hobbying "career", i reckon that i have asked maybe 10 girls - and only 3 of them have agreed. You can see the number of reviews that i have posted - this is a fraction of my "done-list" over the years.

I have only asked 2 girls at this particular "agency" both of whom agreed. At this agency i reckon i have seen over a dozen girls over the past 3 years, some of whom i have seen multiple times.

You are obviously right about the message "spreading" within that collective - as some have said not sure of the issue is one of money (want to be paid extra), fear of exposure, LE as evidence or what.

As far as them serving as a reference for me - not something that i need to rely on from these guys. Ironically, i have been a huge and vocal supporter of these guys on this board and others and in my reviews. I am not about to "out" them or otherwise harm their business - but their loss i guess.

..just a curious thought not to ruffle any feathers but why does it matter to an agency whether a hobbyist takes pics or not AND even more bewildering is why do providers feel it necessary to use agencies.  Protection????  Tell me..what is the agencies policy or form of protection should the escort meet a dangerous client or L.E.

I entered this business when agencies were rarely used but now they have taken a life of their own..and truly can't find good reason for the change or why a hobbyist would prefer an agency over independent...if; in fact, they do

it is their call.  A provider has refused me prior for whatever reasons, it is her call, you don't have to like it, but should respect it.  This is a very personal/impersonal biz.

For me this once again points up the fairly obvious-don't use agencies or collectives-go with well reviewed independents-the independent makes her own decision-ending all of these sorts of extraneous issues.  Have a great weekend !

It sounds like that was a little harsh to ban you for this reason. Now there are always 2 sides to every story, but from what you have said, it didn't sound like that was a 'known' rule. If the provider agreed to let you take the pictures, that was between consenting adults. If the 'agency' had a problem with it, I think they should've gave you a warning. If you used them on a regular basis and were a loyal client, I think that's kinda screwed up for them to ban you. But as I said, 2 sides to every story... I don't know you, so I don't know if maybe you could have already done something to irk them off before this incident? I'm not accusing you of doing anything else wrong, so please don't take that the wrong way!

If agencies want to make it a rule that clients cannot take photos of the providers, they need to make it clearly known. They need to make it known to every provider, and on their website they should have a list of rules and no-nos. (If this 'agency' even has a website?)

The other girl with these guys that i took photos with let me do so for 3 or 4 visits then told me that she'd been told not to allow this and that it should cost $100s more to allow this. I kinda shrugged my shoulders and continue to see here sans photos.

In the interim i also saw 3 or 4 other girls and never even brought this up.

Fast forward to about 3 weeks ago, saw a newer girl as described above, asked and then took some photos - no problems i thought.

Yesterday - BAM.

You are right - no website - a loose "collective" with a "manager" in the background. Despite the obvious cliches, i have found them to be a solid, reliable, safe and classy outfit in the past. Very nice, college age girls for a pretty decent price - very unfortunate this whole deal.

I was looking for general ATL opinion just as a sanity check on my own behavior. Seems that hobbiest and providers do on occasion play with cameras, as long as it is mutually agreed that SHOULD be ok - but each to their own.

Putting it behind me and now figuring out who to spend all my money with in future...
