The nice area of Singapore is Orchard Road. It has the up scale malls and stores. Great places to eat. There is a place called Orchard Towers which is also called the Four Floors of Whores. They have various go go bars and massage places. Price varies alot between bars. One place tried to rip me off on bar fining a girl for some outrageous price then I went to this Philippina place on the ground floor. I met this hot Filippina girl and took her out without any bar fine. I paid her $100 Singaporean dollars for all night. She was one of the best girls I have ever met. There are other designated red light districts in Singapore, but I can't remember them. I went to one place near the Chinatown and the girls were not great. Orchard Towers are highly recommended! Regular mall during the day, then Four Floors of Whores (apt name for this scene) during the evening/night. I'd suggest getting an hotel within walking distance from Orchard Towers. That will save you both time and money, since you won't need to use a taxi when taking a girl out.
Most bars will have a "fine" for taking a girl out, and some of the best girls are often unavailable till 5am (they say they have to dance in the bar until closing). I recommend FHM, where all the girls are always available, the quality is high, and the fines are low. Another alternative is Ipanema. This is the largest bar and it has freelancers only (so no fine). The quality (looks, etc.) is variable, but there are 100s of girls to chose from and you can often find a real gem.
There are other places in Lion City, but Orchard Towers gives you, by far, the best choice and variety. Overall, Ocrhard Towers is one of the best places worldwide, in my experience. Enjoy!
Ditto on Four Floors of Whores. Fun place to visit even if you don't partake. There are different bars on each floor and lots of nice looking eager women standing around on each floor outside of the bars. You can work your way up the escalators starting on the first floor with one or several bars on each floor. You can go in most of the bars without a cover charge just for a look around. As I recall, there were only one or two bars where you needed to pay a cover charge. However, the general impression I had was that the girls got better looking as you went up higher and the bars with the cover charges on the upper floors seemed to have the best looking girls. Of course, it could be that if you drink a beer in a bar on each floor, it's your beer goggles that make the girls look better as you go up higher.
The girls are usually standing around in small groups with their girlfriends but all are there for the same purpose. All you have to do is catch one's eye that you like and they will usually sidle up to you and strike up a conversation and you can take it from there. There are dance floors and a variety of music themes in each bar.
I was staying at the Shangri-La Hotel around the corner but it seemed a little too fancy to bring a girl back there. They had a 24 hour desk clerk that knew your name at the private back entrance to the wing where my room was and the law firm I was visiting booked my room and used this hotel a lot for visitors. So I was just a tourist at the Four Floors. You may want to do some research on your hotel to see if they are friendly to overnight visitors. I know Thai hotels have policies about this and Singapore is usually much more tight sphinctered than Thailand.
My host took me on a tour of the Indian section of Singapore and we passed another strip of whorehouses on a small, very dark street in the Indian section of Singapore. There were about 5-6 open doorways, each casting a red light out into the street. There were literally 20-30 men lined up outside each door peeking in. Inside the doorways were 1-2 older and very skanky looking women sitting on chairs in shorts and dirty t-shirts waiting for business. The guys were migrant workers who had left their wives and girlfriends back in India and Sri Lanka and were just standing there to look at a woman, I don't think they had the money to go in. It was a very surreal sight. I would not recommend a visit there. Reminded me of a lyric from Mick Jagger: "Some girls take my money, Some girls take my clothes, Some girls get the shirt off my back And leave me with a lethal dose"
