Nah I can't say I have.  Only spent time in AC and Subic.  Manila's too hectic for me.

I just returned yesterday so here a re a few updates to Burgos.

First off a word of caution. I have lived here on a semi full time basis for a long time, be cautious. Also be aware that when referring to street and bar girls....Short time means one pop, and often overnight can mean only two.  

Because of the general shyness of the Filipino girls, and because they can be street smart, sexual conversation with details can be awkward. Do not let this become a factor. Tell her exactly what you want and what you expect. Once she agrees then your half way there. Bring your own condoms, often they will have but one. Finally make sure its a girl, its not an insult to ask.  

So if on Burgos, the best spot is Cafe Cubano. Try to get an sidewalk table but if not get one on the first row. You will find MANY girls after 10 pm and often at least 5-7 hanging around between 5 and 10 pm. They almost always know each other and there are many in groups. You will see tons walking the street in front of you, just make eye contact and wave them over if your interested.

These girls will ask between 3-5k Philippine Peso ( PHP ) for short time. Usually they can be had for about 2.5. Late at night you can get the left overs for 1.5.  In my opinion you get what you pay for. Its street action. If you are there or have been there this time of year you know its fucking hot and humid right now. They all need a good shower after being on the street for so many hours looking for a client.  

The agencies are hit and miss. Just depends on where you are staying, how much lead time you give them and which of the girls lives close enough to come to your hotel. I do have a few real winners and you can mail me if you have not left already, don't want to shill here.

OK, so I'm back from my two week trip to the Philippines.  Here are my observations:

Burgos Street: I hit this only once and found it to be pretty frustrating to explore as a solo traveler.  I wasn't worried about safety (I'm capable enough in that regard and I keep my wits about me whenever I travel), but I got constantly pestered by people wherever I went.  You can't just walk around casually...you're constantly accosted by people trying to sell you Cialis, cheap shit, or whatever.  Going into the various bars was frustrating as well...one step inside and you're literally swarmed with women pawing at you, trying to get you to buy them lady drinks.  I tried to be a nice guy about it but it literally got to a point at one place where I had to physically remove some of them from my arms and all but scream at them to leave me alone.  I saw groups of guys who were having an easier time of it...the gals must zone in on solo guys as easy pickings.

Anyways, I settled on two gals at Rogue's.  The bar fine was cheaper there and they seemed as good as any of the other gals that I met.  When I got back to the hotel and started playing, they changed their tune about what was available for the price that we agreed upon.  I kicked them out after only one session, disgusted with them.  Those gals, along with the fact that I didn't enjoy Burgos street itself, almost soured me on doing any playing at all over there.

A few days later, I tried Manila Courtesans (link provided in another post in the thread).  That went really slick, and I ended up getting Sasha at my hotel for a few hours of fun.  She matched her pictures and was a lot of fun in bed, although her attitude was kinda goofy.  Regardless, it was as successful session and I was happy.  I'd recommend them to anyone else who gets tired of the Burgos street shit.

However, I DID find an alternative to Burgos street towards the end of my trip.  I went out exploring one night around my hotel and hit the Greenbelt Mall.  At Greenbelt 3, there's a courtyard with a Starbucks and a few other restaurants that kinda comes alive late at night (I was there around 11pm).  The place is full of freelancers looking for action, most of whom were much better looking than the gals at Burgos street.  They weren't as pushy, either.  I didn't pull any girls from here, but I had fun chatting them up while hanging out in the courtyard.

Anyways, there you go.  I suspect that Burgos street would be a lot more fun in a group than solo.

Sorry to hear about the issues you had with Borgus. I often forget that many know me there and I don't get treated like the tourists.  

Yes Rogues does have the best barfine and usually the cheapest beer. As a single guy you will be simply molested when you walk in to any of the bars. I have found that the selection of girls is about the same at almost all the bars on a weekend. Weeknights vary a little. The girls get one day off a week, usually every other week its a Sunday. The weeknight off on the alternate week is variable. I know it may have looked busy but honestly Bargirls  are lucky to get 2-3 clients a week. They make money on the ladydrinks so push the hell out of them.  

I am sorry you found out the hard way that the bargirls simply do not have the level of honesty or service that you will find in say HK or Thailand. They count on you doing exactly what you did, get a nut pay them and kick them out. I find that they feel safe in the bar, where if an Independent has an issue with you she may worry that she will find you on the street again.

Borgus, is full of street scams and sellers. From Calais and Viagra to tasers and battery chargers to sunglasses, phones and battery packs, the list goes on. All are simply cheap ass imitations. Borgus is very safe physically, just a great place to get ripped off. And you will find one of these guys every 5 feet.

Greenbelt has many postings in another forum dedicated to Manila. It is full of Independent weekend warrior types of girls. Security does crack down on them about twice a month. At night Havana Cafe next to Starbucks can be full of them.
