If you are coming to the Birmingham area I would suggest the Hoover/Hwy 280 area because there is lots of traffic to and from Birmingham with nice hotels shopping and restaurants. Places I would not recommend are the Homewood area Lakeshore or Oxmore. That is where 99% of the drugs and trashy BP girls area.
