I keep in touch with several of the ladys that I saw early in my hobby.  One "hates" me but gives me acceptable refferances, one is happy with me, and the third had retired 5 years ago and has recently come back (I will be seeing her again when my Doctor says I can).  The big factor is not to harass the Ladys.  Every other month or so, pop a friendly "hello" or comment on their posts.

You are talking about GIVING a reference...I am talking about accepting one. I would never accept one that is past the six month mark. I will gladly give them, but I do make the women aware that I saw him x times y years ago.
