The 3 areas to tour in Alabama are Birmingham, Huntsville and Montgomery?  Any other areas that I should look into?

Heather, I am so sorry. Yesterday was a very bad day for me, and I took your comment wrong (not the way you meant it towards Marchon) and totally overreacted. I am not normally a hot head. And yes, I am sure you are correct about this market.

Stay in the hotels in the following areas:

I liked Daphne, Gulf Shores and Bham the best. Montgomery was a bit run down, but I actually cleaned up and found a 3.5 star hotel. Just ask the locals which areas to avoid. I stayed downtown in Bham, and right on the beach in Gulf Shores.
