I have to give my date credit and kudos  for an amazing evening this guy comes prepared .....he knows from by posts  what ! like  and takes the time to find those special things  that mean so much  the right wine  the right restaurant even saw my room had a huge bathtub on-line and brought bubble bath and massage oil along with my favorite type of chocolate and best of all my new pj's  I love my new Jammie's  so much and they have cute little doggies all over them as he knows how much I love dogs....drove almost 3hrs  to see me and back the same night  he got home at 2am and  was up for work at 6am and he is my age BTW.......that is  why  he  was the perfect date  thanks again Mark.....your now batting two  in a row.....the first date was" almost" perfect only because  I wish  he could of stayed longer.......I cannot wait until we meet again.......thank you  so much you make a woman feel so special

I met Roadshow recently and he's great guy and loves the ladies,lol! He will at times say things that come out a little differently than he intended.

I'm betting you hear from him about this and he'll be removing the cowboy boot of his that he stuck in his mouth!

RS2, let me introduce myself. I'm MP67. Some say I have a very nasty habit of white-knighting for certain ladies and my methods are pretty much frowned upon. Actually, quite proud of my efforts. I'm not 60+, and I'm sure some people here don't appreciate my presence.

In anycase, I have spent some time talking with Victoria and I am one of many that find her not only beautiful on the outside, but just as much, if not more, on the inside.

Your assumption that she spent OFC time with her date is insulting. I'm sure if you had the pleasure of conversing with her, you would apologize for that remark and hope she has a sense of letting bygones be bygones.

Sometimes some people should pick their battles more wisely. You never know who's going to be in a certain person's corner.

What you said is what I was trying to convey. I just didn't appreciate what the poster was trying to implicate, meaning, if this was the best date she ever had, that she spent OFC time with him. And even if she did, why should she come clean with it to us? It's not our business.

I found it insulting for him to ask the question, and I called him on it. That's the way I am, and in all actuality I could've been more nasty in my approach.

I hope that Vic and the mod here know what I'm trying to say. It's their playground and I'm just a visitor.

sorry to be the first to cause drama here  all I was doing was giving props to a nice guy for a lovely evening .....men get to write reviews on us  so I just thought it would be nice to share a date  experience  in hindsight  maybe it was  not a good idea  I just happen to get these wonderful dates  in fact just came home from another great date where we shared a 19 course dinner paring with wines it was a crazy fun time over the top  but am Leary to share it now  after reading this thread.....I am  an open book  ask me anything  I did not take offense to  OTC remark but it was not OTC  and if it was  who cares? I think he was just thinking that boy she had such a nice time maybe she went OTC ..... thank you  for coming to my defense mp your a good guy but  so is he  .......I love you all here .......now lets worry about  something more important  like Huggybear  I too noticed  he has been MIA and am worried  as I know he has been ill ......huggybear  if your able to please let us know how your doing  your in my prayers....

Let me say I didnt mean anything disrespectful.  I do see your point.  I was just thinking that this gentleman was truely creating an environment that Mz Victoria simply enjoyed.  Something I would like to emulate.  I think when she said "I wish  he could of stayed longer" made me think she didnt want the date to end.  In my mind I realize that our ladies are also women.  And that he touched her deeply.  But you all are correct.  I crossed the line and I do apologize.   Steph is correct I am infamous for sticking my boot in my mouth.  And sir if I do appriciate you pointing in out.

A good reminder to us as to how we can better prepare for our dates in order to ensure that our lady friends connect with us better when we walk in the door.
