I know many have read the other boards. The mods (all of them) have been allowed to pursue other options. We hardly knew our 60 & over mod. I think that's a good thing. But I wonder how this board will be affected by having support staff now moderating it? My guess for us at least things probably won't be much different. Thoughts?
The real test Will be if we need their help how long it will take them to respond if at all ? I have not much luck on Ter getting anything fixed a bad review was up two weeks after I had to prove I was not even in that town at that time.....My suggestions for many minor things and some just made more sense yet nothing.....no feedback.....one guy wrote me a review month ago and paid VIP and they sent it back saying he had already wrote one the Truth is he had never even known about TER he went back and forth all day asked them to send him one they said he wrote.....fianlly he got mad and asked for money back ...I tried on my end to help him no luck.....in fact the next day he was banned......
starting topics on boards.....buy they have no creed no reviews or links to reviews? I am just wondering if that might be why our mods were given no notice and are also now moderated so are these new poster threads plants by TER or real folks posting and they did not wants mods to know this just guessing to could be a distraction until whatever happens. happens
Could be or it could be some of those that were not comfortable with the old system.
Time will tell.
Just look at the number of people online (as I right this there are 13,146 on TER) compared to the few hundred that post.
Even a small change in the percentage posting would bring out a lot of new names. Clearly, the intent of Admin was to widen participation by making the boards more approachable. This board has always been approachable, but others have varied from good to pretty bad. I expect we'll see some new faces as the tone of the other boards improve.
He helped me out when I needed it. Smacked my fingers when I richly deserved it. And he gave me excellent advice. I am going to miss the dude. And who knows what the future brings.
Me too first one to show support for me trying to get PHX board moving and if I had a question he would always write me back .....
Same here. He always helped me, always answered my questions and never pointed out my stupidity when I did something that was obviously dumb! Im truly gonna miss him!!

One thing he mentioned in a PM was even though he was not needed here he just wanted everyone to know he still was watching. I can tell you he was pleased at how well everyone on this board played together.
Nothing should change here since most everyone knows we have to follow TER's rules. Just because their not over our shoulder doesn't mean their eyes are not on us. Keeping things friendly should be easy for us all and I find so many nice new friends here already.
