On my last annual visit to my urologist, as he was writing my Viagra prescription he said that they (the large urology practice he is with) would soon have a much lower priced alternative.  Turns out that now they will dispense Sildenafil citrate (the primary ingredient of Viagra) for their patients.  The cost is about $2.00 per dose to equal the same result as 100mg of Viagra.  I have used it and it works as well as V.  This is prescribing an FDA approved drug for a non approved use, as S-C is used for other purposes.
This is bending the rules a little, but seems harmless and sure helps their patients financially.

It's had the ingredients,Sildenafil citrate which is what Viagra is, also with me I don't get the flushing..I love the stuff and it cheap also.

This is the first I knew that Viagra came in other than 25 mg/
Anyone here take the 50 my or larger?

I'll take the 100mg about 3 hours before my date, then I'll do another 100mg an hour before and I'm good to go the whole night and morning.Been doing it this way this for awhile, now it's not everyday, only once a week.

200 freaks me out. I'm pretty sure that is way too much.

the pills are expensive and tend to be priced the same per pill regardless of the dose.  My doc said I probably don't need more than 50mg and maybe 25 would do the trick.  But he prescribed 100mg and told me to get a little pill cutter and cut them in half.  That way I get more bangs for my bucks. I some times take 50, sometimes take an entire 100 if I'm seeing a very hot date and want to be extra sure I'm at my best.  But 50 works real well, and if you take a pill that's been cut  in half it seems to act faster.  I think the exposed cut surface dissolves faster and gets into the blood stream faster.  Anyway, ask you doc to prescribe 100 then cut them up as you feel best.

I've never heard of anyone being prescribed more than 100mg per 24 hours.  Please ask your doc if you are endangering your health by exceeding the recommended dosage. Personally I have used a similar strategy, but I'll take 50mg about an hour before the date, then another 50 during a break in the action.  It's still more than one dose in 24 hours, but it's only 100mg total and works well.

It's not 200mg at one time, it's 100mg about 3-4 hours before. Then I have dinner and then another 100mg an hour before.But it just feel different, it feels more like 75mg of Viagra.But it works great with little or no crazy side affects. The only side affect I had a couple of time was when I saw a blue-ish haze cloud, shit I thought I was on acid...AGAIN...lol.
But I've experimented with different dosages at different time intervals and this seems to work for me. Maybe my body is building some kind of immune system, I don't know.But if I was new and started using this, I'd do the 100mg an hour before and see how that works. I have a friend who takes 100mg about an hour before, then 50mg (pill cut in half) about 30 minutes before and he's fucking mendigo the whole night...
But for the price and the way Fildena works, it's really perfect for me...but that's just me.

No, but I've been taking this shit for over 15 years...but here's a kicker. About 5 years ago, just for shits and giggles, I told my doctor about a "problem" I was having in the bedroom. So at that moment, he gave me a prescription of 100mg of Viagra. He told me to cut it in half first and see how I feel, then I could do the 100mg if 50mg wasn't working. So that sorta eased my mind in that if he can give me a dosage of 100mg then I must be ok to use this shit..he also renewed it last year so I must be good to go.

I am still trolling for the "safe" drug.  I also see a urologist who now has me on 200mg.  He has recommended a site for obtaining generic pills from India and Britain that makes the cost less pricey.  And he's had a private lab verify the product is what it claims to be.  But, Viagra and its generics tend to really fuck the stomach over - and the results are inconsistent.  So inconsistent that I have to plan an event and take them 8-10 hrs earlier.  Wanting to prove a point that junior works he tried one of the tri-mix shots.  It's not as bad as it sounds, and makes you rock hard for an easy 60 minutes.  The urologist specializes in ED and "porn-star" issues.  He asked an interesting question, "Do you think those guys really keep it up that long naturally?"  He gives shots.  But, I don't like the discomfort at the site and had a 5-hr erection once so the shots are now out.  I tried the muse table up the urethra and did not like it at all.  BUT, cheer up, the same drug in the shot is now available in Britain & Germany in a topical cream you put into the opening of your penis.  If it works as well as the shot I want it yesterday.  I'm 68 and not dead quite yet.  

and instructed me to get a pill cutter.  Lately I've been on Cialis daily for BPH (failed Flowmax) but if I should find myself with a hottie, I'm good to go.
